I've figured out that the rear sight was adjusted all the way forward, hence the lack of clearance with the handle.

What determines the best fore and aft positioning of the rear sight?

I've just bought an LP10 and I am at the beginner stage. I am aiming sub six o'clock and when the shot looks good I hit the 10. My concern is that I've had to adjust the rear sight so low that I only have six clicks left before the sight bottoms out on the handle. In effect I don't have enough adjus...
