I say that if they dont want the Military, then they can get the hell out of my country. By rejecting the military in every way they can, violating our 2nd amendment freedoms, and being a safe haven for illegal immigrants, not to mention the gay marrige laws there, San Fransisco has basically said &...

I have a FWB .22, and the adjustments on that are numerous, as well as being far easier to adjust than Anschutz. Im not sure if they use the same stock for the air rifles, but if they do that is definitley a better option than an anschutz.

I really doubt you could find a semi auto that could come anywhere close to the level of percison in todays bolt guns. If you did it would cost an obscene amout of money and ultimatley the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.

i found that my gun sitting on my knuckles became painful, and it allowed the gun too much movement. The plam postition also allows for more precise adjustments.

as for your neck you may be pushing your head over on the rifle, and in the process putting unnessacary strain on your neck. Move your cheekrest up if you can.

I recently purchased a FWB 2700 with the aluminum stock and I could be happier with it. EVERYTHING on the gun is adjustable, from the grip, to the cheek rest, to the angle of the trigger. It has the removeable foregrip for the standing postion, which solves the main gripe i had with the Anschutz 191...

rifle shooting is not, and will never be, a spectator sport for a few reasons. 1- Shooters dont like to be disturbed, and a crowd is defintley disturbing. 2- There's no action involved. Shooting 10's is only exciting if youre pulling the trigger. 3- unless there are cameras on all of the targets, a ...

Putting your thumb aound the grip tends to make the rifle roll to the left slightly, which will throw you off. Put your thumb on the back of the bolt, or at least in the groove. This will keep the rifle from rolling either direction.

You might be forcing the gun into postion. Try adjusting your hand postion on the gun.

Put a sight extension tube on your gun, and use subsonic ammo and you dont need to worry about the noise at all.

Wood stocks arent as adjustable for the most part, and like the other guys said wood will change with humidity, which can throw you off. The added adjustability to tailor the gun just for you makes the aluminum well worth the extra dough.

You know what? Thats precisley the reason i dont want to go to a tradional college. If they dont like my guns, too bad. My right to own firearms is protected by the founding document of our country, and i will never give it up without a fight. Its not my problem that all the "Educated" peo...

I have friends that shoot masters level high power, and they reccomend a colt or a rock river arms rifle. The rock river guns have a great trigger, and the overall product is excellent. The prices are also quite reasonable,(no exchange rate crap to deal with) about 1200 or so. For just starting that...

Yeah dude, i do the exact same thing every week! I'll have a good target, then towards the end i will fire a round and be instantly angry with my self for doing it. Just slow down. Put the gun down as soon as you feel tired. Do drills by just bringing the gun up, get a good sight picture, and put it...

Does the 2700 have a wheel to adjust the trigger? My coach's gun is an older FWB and it has that feature.

Hey, at least the Navy and USAF have SOME elite units. The Coast Guard (Is that even still part of the military?) has nothing. Theyre just police with boats, protecting our sand from the imminent invasion. They dont even qualify with long guns, just pistols. So dont knock the USN and USAF too bad. M...

Yeah, i was considering the 2700 also. I had a chane to handle a 2013 earlier today at a sectional match, and I really like it. It really sucks how the exchange rate is so bad right now. All the guns jumped about $400 from last years prices. Most guys that i shoot with have very similar guns, includ...

last week i went in to practice at our indoor range (its been COLD up here in michigan) and there was a police officer teaching a cadet how to shoot.
