Consistancy is the key to accuracy, even building up a pre-shot routine like the NBA stars have before they freethrow is a great way to build up consistancy and therefore accuracy.

New US president & effect on laws

This is probably a strange question and it probably wont happen, but with the up coming US election, there is fear of harsh new gun laws, and I am afraid of an outright ban. I was wondering if there are any countries out there that have as good if not better gun laws than the US, or is it legal to s...

you might find a local school with a german teacher and see if they would be willing to translate, or go to Dict.leo.org for a good translation. you cant really do phrases, but german is not too hard and you should be able to get the basics.

Hope it helps,
Richard

London games

I dont know what all of the gun laws are in britain, but I know that they are pretty strict, like the olympic pistol team has to train in france, but what about the 2012 games, will shooters have to go to france or somewhere else, or will olympians get a free pass type of thing to be able to shoot?

Hey, shooting rifle may be relying upon bone structure more than muscle controll, but without having fine tune muscle controll, there will be a build up of fatigue and by the end of a match your scores are likely to drop off. I would recommend that you look into martial arts as well as weight traini...

do it

A .22 isn't that loud, and as long as your neighbors are fine with it, its OK. I live out in the country with plenty of room, but my neighbors aren't too far away on the sides my house and one of them is a cop, it kinda stinks, but if you can, go for it!

Jr. Olympic Awards

Hey, I recently was invited to the Jr. Olympics in a few weeks, and not to sound greedy, but I heard a roumor that there was cash given to the medalists. Is this true? What about the full on olympics? Wil the Bejing atheletes get a wad of dough? Might explain why all the hype about steroids in the o...

Hey, I am 17 and have been competitively shooting for the past few years, and crimson trace lasergrips sponsors me. I got the sponsorship through a major letter writing campaign where i wrote to many, many companies and asked for help. If you are looking for scholarships, like for college, look to t...

Olympics- How do I get there?

I want to get to the 2012 games, and I have heard that it is a 4 year cycle to pick the athletes. What competitions do I have to go to, who do I have to talk to? I have been shooting for quite a while, and have had the Olympics as sort of a dream goal for a long time, but now I have buckled down and...

Barrel extentions-whats the deal?

Why do some rifles, such as the Anschuetz 2013 have the 2013/690 variation? One has the barrel extention, and one has the solid one peice barrel. Why have the extention if you can have a solid barrel? I see a lot of competition shooters with the extention, does it help? They are both the same price.
