If Badaracchi had shot a 9.9 in the last shot they would have a SO. Can you imagine the pressure in that one shot? Trigger would weight 5kg...

someone said that there are no new jokes in the world, just new dresses for old frames... And I do think the NZed people do have a sense of humor. People that have some 80 million sheep hanging around do need a sense of humor. Some 30 years ago I was seating in a beach bar with a dutch, one Norwegia...

So the system is good, cheap and tested. Will anybody in good sense send money into Iran before the whole box is in his home? I would'nt. Would you open the box when it arrives? I would suggest caution... This is the real problem, not quality or price. If manufacture is moved elsewhere, or sales are...

Rules on repeating AP
Friend lost his one shot magazine, and no time to get another 'fore Feb 6, when the year starts.
Rule says repeating pistols can be used, if loaded shot by shot. Is the one shot magazine mandatory or he can use the five shot mag, if loading only one?
Thanks

the closest I ever been to NZ was holding the Sao Paulo consulate's documents for 24hrs and sharing an apartment with a Kiwi, but I think NZ is as different from Ireland as it is from Brazil. (remember figuring how much sheep dung 80 million of them produced, at 50kg ave. and 5%/day...;-)) The size ...

Started at 24 (1974), always liked guns, shot well with dad's guns (WW2 leftovers), at the same time playing tennis, waterskying and sailing. Climbed in three/four years into the top five in Brazil (not much, really) and was dumped out of Moscow Olympics. Droped out. Came back in June 08 to do somet...

Re: The media is the enemy
[/quote]"We must hang together or we will surely hang separately." - Benjamin Franklin Well, I guess the anti-gun "divide and conquer" strategy is working in Brazil. Meanwhile, back in U.S., a country where practical shooting is growing by leaps and bounds, we just had the countr...

The media is the enemy
I worked for 3 different news papers in my life, and I can assure you that there is no bigger ignorant than a professional journalist. Specially here in Brazil, where you have to go to college to become a newsman. Being the best in the world in your field is not enough, you cannot be a journalist. W...

Thank you, Fred, but the tables (and the thing is full of them) came out all mixed. Plain text came out ok, but for that I simply save a copy in txt format and toil away. Will have to rebuild the indexes, though. Will ask, via Brazilian natl organization, for a copy in another format from ISSF. Doub...

not so off topic...
I might translate the new rules into portuguese, depends on agreement with national organization. Is there a version in editable format? Working on a 7mb pdf is next to impossible. Tried to convert, became a word file of 150mb. And the free programs I found are bad, tables become text boxes. Thanks ...

The real problem with the FWB P44 is the importer. I got one, ordered with medium grips, with the biggest grip I've ever seen on any pistol. Although the seller tried hard, Beeman would not supply a medium grip, which now I think would not solve the problem. Any solution was around 60 days ahead. An...

My understanding is that rule 6.3.6.3.5 is INTENDED to stop shooters 'modifying' the floor surface - how it will be interpreted and applied will be up to the Juries at ISSF Championships. One lives in hope that common sense will prevail. Spencer Common sense is not so common anymore...hard to find ...
