Sorry, but I was not clear: I do shoot with both eyes open, with correction glasses and a translucent cover on the left eye.
I meant shooting without the cover.

Both eyes open?
Experimented shooting with open eyes, and found that the group shrank. Found 2 main problems: donut shooting: plenty of nines and, worst, the concentration needed to "force" the dominant eye to dominate is enormous. Is there some experience on this? Do not want to reinvent the wheel and wa...

Data venia from the tech people, I've seen a pistol (morini air) shooting with a 12v battery from these remote garage openers. It is a lot shorter, so the guy put in with it a spring long enough to fill the space and make the contact. Last a lot less, but it's cheap AND available in any supermarket ...

Re: LP2 vs 10 - possibly OT
I wouldn't go for the LP2, its less featured than the LP10 more an AP for beginner At what level of shooting do you think one would notice the benefits of an LP10 if one is using an LP2? cheers Ed That's a damm good question!!! Funny is that, nowadays, you can shoot with the best gear in the world ...

Had one for a few weeks, traded for a LP@. The first problem was that it was delivered with a Large grip, instead of the medium of the order. Turned ou that the importer (Beeman) had no medium or small grips. Since I'm here in Brazil the problem was compounded. The real problem: it's a heavy pistol....

Congratulations! Good improvement rate. Now, register into the forum and read whatever technical stuff you can. A lot is in the 10P files, but keep looking. Join a club, find a trainning mate, if not a coach. The time spent reinventing the wheel can be spent trainning. I'm getting back into the spor...

Just came back from the optics shop. Went ytd to my eye MD and, by testing, found out that a .5º was the best. Had the lens made, got home and found that the front post is not absolutely sharp. Called back the shop, asked if they could make me a .40º. This is very expensive. Ready made lenses appare...

quote from Welsh shooter: IMHO the real missed opportunity of electronic targets is the ability to network them globally - what other sport can offer the potential of competition in real-time with an almost unlimited number of formats to a global market at the press of a button? Most of us have shot...

Sorry to say that I found no diagram, Hammerli is gone in support and the documents are gone. Heard a story that someone here in Brasil fixed one of them, after breaking apart the resin block that hides it. Since the part is gone, maybe building another is not so difficult. I'm not capable of doing ...

Once more I have a bearer from the US, this time Hawaii. Any walkin shops around there? Any legal limitation? Only via internet?
Thanks

I'm a translator, using the keyboard a lot. My right shoulder is under treatment, lifting the pistol hurts a lot. Reason: very high table. Bought a laptop keyboard from IBM, high quality keys, good to work with, with touch pad and extra long cable. Use the kb on my lap, on a swivel / reclining chair...

All these top line pistols are very precise, the main difference is a question of opinion. I would not buy an electronict trigger, they end up, after a long time, having problems (specially if you keep them a long time. My FP 152 has problems, my friend's 150s (serial numbers in the first 000) never...

Hans, to remove the plunger I had to remove the limiting bracket AND release the solenoid from the frame, which enabled me to rotate the set backwards and pull the plunger out. You have to be extremely careful not to disturb that ridiculus amount of wires. If some of the lower tier wires gets loose ...
