Maybe they don't want anybody with theirs butts in the air, drawing on the floor...certainly less elegant than the "tacky picture" that roused such a debate...

"natural progression" is something like this: first gun a Hammerli 230 (in 1975, I think), scores in the 550/560's quite soon. While playing tennis found had problems seeing the ball at the other side of the court. Had glasses made. Scores jumped to 560/570 almost immediatelly. Bought an I...

It is not the same...mine had two cocking pins, and was broken very close to it, but not in half like yours, just the pin and a small part of the cilinder. I don't know how much would cost to try to weld it, since it may not work, but get another one before you have to get one made on order...hammer...

Had the same problem, with a 150, back in the days it was a new pistol...happened during a competition. With some difficulty removed the firing pin, turned it around and used the other side of it. The broken part was later welded back in place in 5 minutes and it worked well until I sold it. Good luck

More on trigger weights: many yrs ago I saw a testing stand that would hold the pistol vertical and the correct weight would be placed on a platform that would be lowered by turning a screw. The weight arm would settle slowly over the blade and then another turn of the screw and it would be hanging ...

In all these pics the palm rest is in the dark, can't see well how far it goes. Maybe the left side of the grip is longer than the palm rest, like in mine. I just shaved a couple of mm from the palm rest, to avoid problems with one of the officials I had a problem just short of an official complaint...

I was waiting on the phone for the airline call center, saw the pictures, didn't read the text. Sorry for the objections, they're meant for the fakes.

Is a great idea and, seemingly, very well executed.

Congratulations.

Nice project, but the one problem is the assault rifle appearence. These weapon looking air rifles are forbbiden here.

Actually, replicas of weapons are forbbiden in Brazil. Too many crimes with them. I almost shot a young army conscript stupid enough to come up on me waving what looked like a .45.

Another possibility is diffraction. Very narrow sights bend the light beam, the same way the famous pencil bends in the water glass... From Merriam Webster: a modification which light undergoes in passing by the edges of opaque bodies or through narrow slits or in being reflected from ruled surfaces...

Glare

In our club, here in the boondoks of Brasil, I changed the incandescent target lamps into fluorescent. Took care of choosing lamps with equivalent wattages (15W fluorescent = 60W incandescent, according to the package). The reason for the change was economy, since 30 shooting posts used 1,800W only ...

Use of obsolete presciption glasses

Ytd found a set of glasses, problably the first one I ever had @ 1975. Had them made because when the other guy trew the tennis ball up to serve I had trouble to focus on it. My tennis and shooting improved imensely. Tried them today and is the best shooting lens I found. Have no idea of grades, but...
