Mark, That is exactly the kind of tape (white) I'm using. I don't worry about the gunk that's left behind - and there isn't much that can't be cleaned out with a toothpick or q-tip. While I've never had problems with the front sight or the trigger (after using the manual to adjust it) I do have the problem with the upper shroud screws working loose. Do you use a particular size/brand? It sounds like something I need to try.

That makes sense and really isn't a surprise considering there's only 14 women shooting the 25m event (based on USAS rankings). It's a small population. The unfortunate thing is we're not close to any PTO matches (that I'm aware of) in VA.
