Another opinion, for what it’s worth, in relation to the above. My charging handle is not wobbly, the cylinder threads are coarse and thread on very easily, the cylinders don’t lose air on the gun.

I swapped my P8X trigger blade for a Walther GSP one. Also removed the barrel shroud.

I get nearly two matches from one cylinder in the P8X. I wish they came with two cylinders though.

Re: Feinwerkbau P8X review: how to improve it?
Hi, The trigger shoes are spare parts for Walther GSP and SSP guns. There are various sorts - plastic or metal, short-stemmed or long-stemmed. I like them because the curve is comfortable to my finger size/shape. I make new adaptors to suit the gun I'm fitting it to and cut the stem to suit the adap...

Re: What to Buy ? Feinwerkbau P8X vs Walther LP 500
I've had my P8X for over three years and never had a problem with this part. I have never used the transport lock because I didn't know it was one! And didn't know there could be a problem with rotation of the absorber until someone mentioned it here. After three years of doing one or two sixty shot...

Re: What to Buy ? Feinwerkbau P8X vs Walther LP 500
Some people think canting sights are a gimmick. Due to old elbow injuries my gun is canted away from my arm by about five degrees and angled nearly to the extent shown in the photo below. By being able to adjust the cant with the sights means my gun still fits in the issf box without having to cut a...

Re: What to Buy ? Feinwerkbau P8X vs Walther LP 500
I bought a P8X in 2017. Best airgun I have shot with. I've owned LP10s, 162EI, LP400, LP@ before. To really begin concentrating on sights and trigger and process you first need a gun that can point naturally when the arm is raised. The quick adjustability of everything on the P8X shortens this proce...

Re: Feinwerkbau P8X review: how to improve it?
I fully agree with deadeyedick's comment.
I don't know how noise level compares to other guns.
It would be good to have two cylinders in the kit - I think Morini still offers two in a new kit.

Re: Feinwerkbau P8X review: how to improve it?
I've owned and regulary shot 162EI, LP10, and LP400. The 162EI was my favourite before the P8X. The adjustability of everything on the P8X is unmatched by anything else out there. The P8X factory grip as supplied (large) was mostly fine but needed some putty in places, and the part where the end of ...

Re: Feinwerkbau P8X review: how to improve it?
I put more emphasis on grip rather than the gun itself but the P8X is the best air pistol I've ever shot with. Mine is in a chopped and channelled rink grip.

Re: Do Electronic triggers make the 10M pistols more accurate?
..........I've often wondered if someone couldn't use a photocell system instead of a switch. The trigger could move an opaque piece in between an LED and a photodetector, blocking the light........

Re: Why are new match air pistols so expensive?
Well I own a P8X and am heavily involved in cnc production machining. After considering what the costs are in distribution and resellers margins I'm amazed they can produce what they do for the money.

You don't move your trigger finger to get correct placement - you move your trigger shoe to get correct placement under your finger.

Re: Walther SSP Damper system
The bolt of a Pardini has a shorter travel stroke than the MG2. The bolt on the Pardini I think will always bottom out on its spring buffer, so you will always feel some impact and maybe get some muzzle flip. The bolt on an older MG2 (I'm not sure if its the same with the new one-screw take-down mod...

Out of interest are you using the wireless MX2? Does it pick up the sound of a dry firing mechanical trigger and the click of an electronic trigger? The click is near silent on some new guns.

3d printing at RAM3D in Tauranga. I think you need a solid model.
