I like to keep it simple, because that works best for me every day. If these two factors are consistently good my groupings are often very tight. I always wobble a bit and somedays more, thats not a key factor for me I shoot good anyway because my trigger work stabilizes the barrel. Superfocus on fr...

Hello Stan. I have had these problems too, and they are frustrating and serious, if you don´t listen to your body you could be forced to rest from shooting 1-2 years. My general advice: Rest from shooting at least 3 months. Massage of the sore muscles every day, you can do it yourself and light stre...

1. Optic examination.

2. Get the lens that are best for his condition.

3. Learn to always keep focus at the front sight.

4. Shoot at blank targets and when groupings are consistently tight, switch to real target. This procedure often speeds up the progress considerable.

Ok! Wang was first with coming so close in 1992 with gold 10m and silver 50m. And then Nestruev in 2004 with silver and gold.

DiDonna wasn`t as close with gold and bronze in 1996... but that is of course anyway an amazingly good performance.

No not yet!

50m pistol has been olympic discipline since 1896, but 10m pistol since 1988 and Kiriakov (BUL) is the only guy that have olympic gold in both disciplines. Gold 10m 1988 and gold 50m 2000.

Nestruev (RUS) was close to achieve gold in both in 2004, silver in 10m and gold in 50m.

I agree that everyone should try this approach: what works best for me? This is my strongest belief. The most important factor to control is the trigger. The second factor is alignment of the front sight. If these two factors are consistently good, the shooters ability to control every aspect of the...

I tried it with my Toz, and it was ok, but I changed back to regular notch because I like to have my sights similar in air-, free-, standard- and centerfirepistol.

I have been testing several brands of pellets in Steyr LP10. I have tested them both in a vice and in usual shooting. RWS R10 rifle, HN Finale match pistol, HN finale match rifle and JSB match rifle were all good enough. And "good enough" for me is that they all the time with no doubt hold...

What really makes the difference is how they perform in your hand. As always, the best advice remains "try before you buy" if you can! Well said by "Mark Briggs"! If you like the sights, the trigger and the balance of the gun then buy it. Get a good grip and modify it for your h...

What is the best proportions for you? I tried tight gaps and it was good in good conditions, but noticed that in harder conditions it was easier for me to release a good executed shot with a wider gap. The best outcome of this for me, is better contrast at front sight.

Your best tips for excellence in ap and fp?

Airpistol and freepistol are my main events. I think we are a huge bunch of fairly good shooters that in long periods struggle with the feeling that nothing is happening. Please share all your best tips that helped you to reach the next plateau. Explain how you practiced and what was the outcome of ...
