I've spent a lot of time looking for the correct lens for the many different conditions and ranges.

Ordering from Zenni Optical allows several things to be purchased for very little money.

I have read a lot about bullseye positions. I would now like to find a good source of information describing a fundamentally sound position for the olympic pistol disciplines.

I have several dedicated presses. Something that works great is to use a few buddies' presses to see what style you like best. The Ultimate Reloader videos on YouTube are fantastic for seeing the whole process with several different presses and caliber conversions.

It is based on performance versus the average score. A person who is 1.0 shoots the average score in every match. A person who shoots a 1.02 shoots 2% above average in matches.

Yes. The finish is considered bright.

Most people say slide mount, but I prefer the feel of a frame mount. Shoot both, and decide which feels best to you.

A frame mount feels more like a standard iron sighted gun to me. The slide mount has a mushier recoil feel.

I will echo the advice that a good .22 is a great way to break into the sport. At our local matches, you can use a .22 until you get comfortable shooting the centerfire and the .45.

Dryfire is a great training tool. It's free, and you don't have the hit the range or the reloading press to do it.
