Re: First Rifle Help -- Entering 10m Air Rifle at Mid-Twenti

My advice would be to buy as good a rifle as you can afford. Shoot it a while; then sell it if it does not meet your needs. If taken care of; quality air rifles hold their value a long time. I'm 65, just a plinker, and I just found a great used Anschutz 8002 S2. Bought it in a heartbeat. I can shoot...

60 years old. I shoot 10M air rifle...Feinwerkbau 602...and 10M air pistol...Morini 162EI in my family room on a regular basis strictly for enjoyment. Very relaxing and stress relieving. I shoot bullseye, mini-silhouettes (paper), even benchrest; whatever I'm in the mood for. I have lots of rifles a...

I am shooting air pistol and rifle in my family room with Gehmann pellet traps installed on a plywood backstop. Zero problems. Shoot; then simply sweep up.

Best of Luck,

Thank you for your help. The thumb and index finger was the trick. Now I just have to figure out the sights. I use a center to high 6 oclock hold. With the rear sight on the Morini bottomed out; I am still out of the black at 12 oclock. Does Morini make a taller front sight?

The lever seems to be blocked by something. I'm afraid much more force and I will bend the lever.

Was your this tight?

new Morini question

Today received new Morini CM 162 EI from Pilkington. Charged cylinders using yoke and scuba tank. Installed cylinder on the pistol. I cannot raise the loading port arm more than 1/4". The small hook is not engaged. Any suggestions as to problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Pearre Ch...

air pistol lubrication

Please excuse if this is a worn out topic. The available information on lubricating a compressed air pistol is somewhat confusing. Some folks recommend Crossman Pellgun oil. Others say not to use it due to compression pressures and temperatures. Then there are conflicting discussions about the types...

A good source for the non-hardening putty is an electrical supply house. The putty, or "duct seal" is used in the electrical industry to seal around metal conduits going through a non-fire rated partition. Comes in 5 or 10 lb blocks. I pluck out the fired pellets when there are so many imb...

OZ:

Thanks for the advice. I ordered a batch of RWS Hobby pellets and a shaker box. I am able to shoot a full 10 meters in my family room. Nice when you look at the normal winds here in the Texas Panhandle.

Thanks again,

Sizing air pistol pellets

Please excuse if this is an oft answered question.... New shooter. Baikal 46M. Is there a way to determine the correct pellet diameter for a given pistol without having to purchase tins of various sized pellets? Where is the diameter measured....the "head" or the "tail" of the pe...
