Does something already exist? I am looking for software that would allow me to record range info, conditions, scores, fall of shots, equipment configurations, calender for training planning and goals etc. For smallbore and fullbore rifle - so all ISSF targets and others too if possible. Any recommen...

This is my biggest problem. I chipped the end off my left elbow when I was 15, never a problem until I moved to 50m smallbore. I have a Kurt Thune mat which is great, but illegal. I now am looking for a legal solution as since I started getting regular podiums at regional level, people are less forg...

I have just put one up for sale in the for sale forum.
It seems the high value Euro is making German kit very expensive for non-EU buyers.

Rules question
Maybe I am a bit thick, but reading the ISSF rules I am not sure how to interpret the following scenario: Scenario: Halfway through a prone position series, competitor places a .22 cartridge into the breech of his rifle, pushing it most of the way in with his finger. On closing the bolt the cartridg...

Shooting mats / elbow problems
Having a bit of a problem as I move up in the shooting world..... When I was a teenager I fell and chipped the end of my left elbow - pretty painful at the time, but now just a lump at the end of my forearm - right at the point were it rests...... I have been using a Thune shooting mat at club level...

PaulB, The bad news seems to be that it is a very complicated and drawn out procedure. The good news is that if she figures it out and gets to target shoot, she will qualify for a degree in International Law 8^) Welcome to the concept of gun control. A simple idea designed to ensure that only respo...

Is there a site in english with info on the EU firearms pass? You can find the only the UK procedure in English. The EU firearms pass lists individual weapons and is issued to someone who legally holds them in an EU country, eg has a license in that country. Depending on which EU country you are in...

Re: Firearm's Laws in France
Can anyone give me a general desription of the firearm's laws (related to pistols) in France; or refer me to a website. Also, I need to know about the availability of ranges where a visitor might be able to shoot. I have a student that will be studying there next year and would like to know what sh...

Hammerli 104 parts
Hi,
I asking on behalf of a friend who needes some parts to his his Hammerli 104 free pistol back online. He is based in Canada, but would be happy to source parts from anywhere.
The parts needed are "the mainspring and rollers".
Anyone have an idea for a supplier?
Thanks.

Hi All, Time to give an initial feedback. I went for the 2013/2213 in the end. Final decision was based on the component elements of the stock being easily exchangable/customisable, and the assumption that Anschutz would have realised any fundamental design problems with the 2213 by now. First impre...

I am in Germany and France 50/50 - spares for all are obviously not a problem. I must confess that I assumed that you were in the US so with the $/£ exchange as it is I didn't mention this before. Have you considered the HPS System Gemini Stock?: http://www.hps-tr.com/ I bought one of their butt pl...

Thanks for the input guys. I am in Germany and France 50/50 - spares for all are obviously not a problem. Resale values for Anschutz are better, but as I am not looking to sell, not really important. Purchase price for Anschutz is higher. After a wooden stocked 1813 and match 54, all the new offerin...

New .22 Free rifle
Just getting back into shooting at a competetive level after a long lay off. Currently averaging 575 for a 60 shot English match using an old club rifle and cheap ammo. This I figure is about the limit of the me/rifle/ammo combo, so have decided to spend seriously on a new rifle. Top choice is a new...
