Re: FWB Models 2, C5, C10, C55, & C60 cylinder availability
Hi Stan, I hear you about using up a bunch of lives...and At least you have matured some :-) Despite marrying late in life, by my (first and only) wife's assessment, I'm partially trained, and after 28 years, she doesn't want to start training a new husband from scratch LOL. I try to be good 'cause ...

Did my semi annual check and log in just now. I've responded to all requests to access the library. Will check here for the next few days before I go on hiatus again.
Thanks to all who are out there coaching and shooting!

Re: FWB Models 2, C5, C10, C55, & C60 cylinder availability
Hi Rover, As an engineer, I don't find the rule useless; hence I went and purchased a "new" cylinder in compliance with the rules. Given today's litigious society, I'm certain FWB tested my new old cylinder to make sure it was safe. I just thought I'd share my very positive experience with...

Re: FWB Models 2, C5, C10, C55, & C60 cylinder availability
About 8 years ago, I bought a "new" FWB cylinder from ..... FWB! I think that's about the time the new cylinder rules went into effect, If I recall correctly. Just contact FWB. A couple of emails and about a month later, I had a new CO2 cylinder. Funny thing was, it was actually older than...

Thanks for sharing. That was a bit interesting and along the same vein when I calculated 10m pistol scores for US coins http://www.targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=56467 If you email me the file, I can post a link and host it in the electronic Airgun Reference Library. http://www.targettalk.or...

Re: Is Electronic Digital Trigger Pull Gauge helpful
In our club, we set all our pistol triggers so that they don't fire with a 520 grams weight (or last least don't fire 4 out of 5 times). In effect, it means we are likely close to what Doug recommends with an actual firing weight of 525 grams. This way, if you travel, with weather/humidity/temperatu...

Re: Scores for US Coins
Hi, I've received several PMs about the excel spreadsheet. Rather than send this out individually, I've attached the Excel spreadsheet to this post for all. The macro is unprotected and the code is pretty well documented, so you can adjust it as you see fit. It's just a brute force implementation of...

Scores for US Coins
Hi, I've always wondered what various coins would score if on a pistol pellet target. So, I finally wrote a little Visual Basic function to do the calculation for me. I've posted the results below. Kinda neat to share with the kids (or parents). Respectfully, Chris /[img] https://drive.google.com/op...

If your older friend was using an RWS45, then he's using a sporting air rifle. I have written and hand this out to friend who are interesting in sporting air rifles, either for themselves or for introducing youngsters to airguns/firearms. Here's the text of the attached Adobe PDF file. I welcome any...

Re: Just restarting, suggestions for exercises?
I was hoping someone would post Rover's exercise plan. It's great but very stressful and tiring. To help you get ready for it, I'd strongly recommend the following warmup which Rover deliberately omitted. (They're TOP SECRET and releasable only to Secret Squirrel Shooting Society (SSSS) members) 1. ...
