Re: Help picking smallbore for small shooter
Olympian Jasmine Ser of Singapore is a smidge over 5' (155cm) and about 105lbs (48kg) in weight. She's used a variety of stocks and barrels over the last few years, but last I saw was using a Bleiker "Light" stock. I don't know if that one's still available, but Bleiker do make a "Lad...

Re: Which way to mount front sight - FWB 602?
Not that it matters in the context of club shooting, but in ISSF air rifle matches the overhanging front sight would contravene rule 7.4.4(b)
"The front sight may not extend beyond the apparent muzzle."

Re: ISSF Rule Interpretations
Yes it is. (for now) 1) it is not coming off of the lower part of of the buttplate 2) it is within the 40mm side to side off of the centerline of the bore The one coming off of the lower part of the buttplate (facing forward) is not. That said, this is one of the manufacturers "loopholes"...

Re: Odds of Free Pistol Being Cancelled; Effect on Competiti
Thank you for the link to these films. I find them very interesting as promotional documents. But I can hardly see how a spectator can follow a performance shot by shot as finals are shot today. Therefore I prefer the electronic target were you can follow the match…even from the seat in the cantina...

If it's for NSRA competitions, they will only accept their own targets. http://www.nsrashop.co.uk/products/nsra ... rgets]link

"Most people" are wrong.
The rifle manufacturer's advice is to clean after shooting. The ammunition makers say the same.

Re: Anshutz 1907 Bolt Removal
The rear bedding bolt can interfere with the movement of the action, if the bedding bolt has been over tightened, or if the stock has shrunk. I live in Scotland, so I've never encountered low humidity :) but I can imagine that the timber drying out could lead to the stock shrinking slightly.

Re: measuring buttplates
AFAIK there is no mention of number of contact points mentioned in this context. Long answer first; The legality (or not) of your buttplate, would depend on how the buttplate sits against your jacket. If the jacket contacts the part of the plate between the posts, then the perpendicular line for the...

To my knowledge, european and most asian countries have their shooters on a steady salary + money for winning. In the case of GB, there are currently 12 supported athletes in the World class programme, two in rifle and ten in shotgun. Supported does not mean salaried. Most countries have a reward p...

@ShootingSight. As Rob has pointed out, you seem to be mistaken about the pupils acting independently. As I understand it, there is a reflex action, known as the ipsilateral consensual reflex, where light shone into one eye, causes both pupils to constrict. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pupillary_lig...
