Can I just make a quick observation that you may not have to use a trainer if you can set up some sort of range inside your house with an electronic target and a pc/laptop. You don't need 10m, as a good few of the target systems incorporate scaling in their scoring so that you could scale a 10m targ...

And I can now confirm that yes you can disable the grip safety by screwing the screw behind the LH grip clockwise all the way in.

It's described as screw (e) in the Walther KSP200 manual.

I ordered a set of the IZH 35 match grips in Medium LH from Dennis last week, and they arrived by post today!

All I can say folks is you won't go wrong with these grips. The workmanship is first class and they look as good (if not better) than the photos.

Re: Weight of AW93

xeye wrote:Why is everyone saying this gun is heavy? The specs on the internet say it weighs 1.13 Kg (2.48 lbs). Isn't that about what the Pardini weighs?
The Pardini weighs 1.06Kg; not much lighter. However IMO the wight in the AW93 is more muzzle biased than the Pardini.

As a reason that seems to be incredibly simplistic! What would the purpose be? Higher scores that couldn't be accepted outside Camp Perry! Lots of ranges have tough windy conditions. Century Range in Bisley springs to mind, but that's surely an incentive to learn to read wind better, not one to make...

Not going myself, but have some friends going. Irish Team in it's entirety.

Want me to exchange contacts for you?

Pardini make a scope mount for the SP, I think the rail on the Pardini is very similar to the Benelli. Maybe that would work for you?

You can check it out on the Pardini website.

Lack of turning targets is not what's killing International pistol in the US. Yes we could use more of them, but let's get real here - I managed to make the team in air and sport and to win nationals in sport the next year with no training on turning targets except at matches. I don't think anyone ...

Out of interest, which Megalink targets are you using, or do you have a mixture. From what I can see neither the 4K187 nor the 4K300 are suitable for 25m or 50m pistol and the 4K560 isn't suitable for 10m rifle or pistol. Am I missing something in their online information, is that information wrong...

It's easier to adjust the headspace of your ammunition :) Not being facetious, get a headspace gauge and batch your ammo according to headspace. It's not critical as to whether it's tight or loose, just that it's all the same at any particular time. i.e, if it's loose, then make sure it's all loose ...

Suis-Ascor units at $20K for a bay!? Our club's budget couldn't handle a tenth of that sum. Sius Ascor and Meyton are the most expensive units out there. They are not the only ones. Megalink, Spieth and Polytronic are far cheaper and just as good. Our club has 8 Megalink targets, all the control un...

The pistols may be reasonably priced, but the fast-turn targets aren't. RF bays, in particular, are scarcer than hen's teeth. I don't think there are more than a dozen in the country thhat are in working order. Surely you've moved on from turning targets at this stage? Electronics should be the ord...

Those are the people that are shooting NRA Bullseye. No, it's not the same, but it is similar. And someone just beginning in pistol is more likely to find a club shooting NRA BE than one shooting International Isn't that the point though? Surely USA shooting should be looking for a presence in thes...

For the money, utility, and convenience, the Combro is hard to beat IMHO. For airguns, you don't need to have any real separation between the muzzle and the chronograph. http://www.combro.co.uk/cb625.html This one's already been suggested.... and rejected.... See the OP. I am looking for a device t...
