small trade school near Harvard. I bet that would make them even more cranky. Classic.

I'm guessing most of your new shooters are not from the US?

Re: Manurhin MR38 conversion to DA/SA

$$$$$$...... Well after what I paid for the pistol a hammer change out will feel easy. The thing is I don't plan on shooting it DA, its just that it has to have a functioning DA and SA. However, after going through all this to make it DA i might just shoot an event using DA. I've never seen a pisto...

Manurhin MR38 conversion to DA/SA

I would like to shoot an event that requires the pistol function in double action. Is there a way to convert from single action only to double action/single action. I see there are two different hammers for the MR73 available, will a MR73 part fit the MR38? I don't want to ruin the pistol but I woul...

Scott, sorry to say that the date you posted for the 2680-159x record is incorrect. Need to look at the record book, it was 1974.

Walther KK 300 50yd to 100yd adjustment

Can someone give me a rough adjustment in clicks or revolutions going from 50 yards to 100 yards. It is a standard KK 300 rear sight, no adjustment on the front.

I guess I really don't know if these are 1/8 moa, or 1/4 moa sights in stock rifle configuration.

Thanks

Re: Pardini scope ring question

I recently bought a pair of Warne rings from Midway. They were about $50 whereas if you buy just the two front ones directly they charge you quite a bit extra. The one ring only needs a quick shaving from an end mill or even grinder would work. The material needed to be taken off is on the bottom an...

Re: Marvel Conversion Question

Trevor, It really depends on how much the rails have been altered. From the few I've seen, most do not fit. That is the downside of peening the rails but it's worth a check. Finding a gunsmith that has the right slide files could be worth the effort since the inner slide rails of the Marvel could be...

U.S. Walther dealer with KK300 parts

Can anybody recommend a US Walther dealer that would have small parts for a KK300. I need the knobs for the buttstock and cheekpiece adjustments. Thanks.

Re: A National Match Discussion

.... I plan to attend Parry for the first time this summer for pistol. Never been for anything but smallbore. I've heard the target system is nearing the end of it's lifespan, and have no idea how it works. Is there a pistol shooter that could comment on a covered firing line being possible for pis...

I have never broken any parts on my 602 but with job, school, life's events I don't shoot anywhere your 3000 rounds a year. I bought recoil springs and buffer but have not changed them out.

I usually do not reply to postings recommending a pistol because it is about individual choices and what is important to your shooting style and process. In this case though I have owned all or similar pistols to the ones you mentioned. My favorite is not the one I will recommend because I think the...

Re: LP50 for timed and rapid training

Jim did a really good job, in my opinion, describing what you will gain from an LP50. The recoil of the GSP is not what is holding you back from shooting top scores. To even consider recoil as something that has to be overcome is simply focusing on the wrong thing, that will work itself out with mor...

Neal currently has H&N bullets in stock but no lead bullets. He currently has .32 cal bullets referred to as "high speed" they are copper plated. From H&N website: "This surface finish was introduced by H&N in the 1990s and has today become widely accepted. With this metho...

Dave, you are scaring me a little with your math, check the original post. only five years, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Do you still recommend the .314" H&N bullet after one of your .308" barrel conversions? Wouldn't .006" over cause leading? I talked to Neal Stepp today and...

these guys know a little about training marksmen: http://www.lassensharpshooters.com/USMCPistolTeamWorkbook.pdf the workbook is not a step by step how to shoot book but it will give you specific goals and teach the terms used at bullseye matches. use your .22 at 25 yards(if you have access). bullsey...

Re: Factory 9x19mm for CMP Hardball

When I lived in SoCal I regularly shot with a friend that attended the Marine Corps Western division matches, even though he was civilian. He had his own stock 92f that he used, so you know it not modified beyond new factory parts and some slight trigger smoothing. I shot a clean timed fire target u...
