NCST8- What barrel & twist rate? I give up... what's the recommended load? Any practice loads using lead? I've used the exact FMJ load listed above and it works well. I just found that 3.2 grains of WST behind a 125 grain lead bullet work fine for 25 yard practice. have no idea how accurate it ...

I'd like to offer my personal story as evidence to not needing a high dollar gun to get leg points. I built my own 1911, the first and only gun i've ever built, under a watchful eye but still i did all the filing and fitting. The only "high dollar" part was a Barsto barrel. With good train...

I agree, they are good people selling good bullets. I have several different calibers from them, they all seem well made.

I was coached by a National Champion that said the chart is not the best training method. I threw it away and my scores went up. I obviously cannot argue with you on that point. It doesn't mean however that for some shooters, at some stage in their shooting career, it is not a suitable tool. That i...

With that attitude and offensive regard to others, I'm glad that RM is not my coach. Is that how they teach people to act in the holy mormon state? you signed up for that? A little late to the dogpile. I apologized to the people I offended because of a misscommunication on my part. If you can't liv...

Coach Haynes, <snipped to just keep in the good bits> Regards. You really do insist on missrepresenting what's been written above to a major degree. Patrick wrote I never said focus on the wild shots. I said identify and correct the error. Apparently, even that is above your simple comprehension. N...

Thank you Patrick for givng us the benefit of the knowledge you have gained as a coach working with many individuals who possess unique needs which are not amenable to the "one size fits all" approach.[/b] This takes us back to the old arguement. Some shooters know how they shoot, or used...

Patrick, I'm not sure if you know that Bill was with the AMU for many years. So just because the chart was developed or further developed there doesn't make it the gospel. Bill is not endorsing it and he might have helped devolop it, but later found better training techniques. I think overall there ...

I had one of those charts in my box. A NRA National Champion said they're don't work, I ripped it out then and there and haven't thought about one since. Not many Champions the caliber of Bill Horton post here and I see why. When he speaks people don't really listen. I guess the fundamentals have ch...
