she couldn't tell me since they haven't imported one. They will only look into importation after people show interest. The other pistols seemed to be priced very reasonably. I consider the only pistol close to this model a Manurchin MR32 which is impossible to find and very expensive. The Alfa shoul...

Alfa-Proj U.S. pistol importation
There is finally a importer for these pistol into the U.S. but they are not currently importing model 3263, the .32 S&W long target model. I am asking anybody with an interest to email Deanna: shipping.department@czechpoint-usa.com. hint, hint, even you don't have a personal interest maybe you c...

Erud, Zero 230 grain bullets are well made, 4.8 WST or Titegroup work well for 50 yards. Sierra 8815's are also top notch. For less wear on your gun/barrel practice with 4.4 gr. of WST/HTG behind a lead 230 head at 25yd. Any primer that stays in the brass will work. Even more than HP rifle, pistol i...

most NRA High Power shooters wear some kind of sweater since we shoot outdoors, usually in the heat, the sweater soaks the sweat up instead of getting the jacket dirty. I use an underarmour shirt in the summer under the sweater. Last winter somebody broke into my garage and took my jacket, AND SHRUN...

My question is how old is the recoil spring? Factory lapua is probably hotter than most people handload (I use VV310, 1.3g) but it still should not slam the slide into the frame. Seems to me the spring might be worn and after replacement you could find a load of VV or WST that works accurately and n...

Chad, I think either scope is overkill for smallbore, but either would serve you well for many years. I know a couple of shooters that prefer their TSN-1 to their 821M. They say the mirage is better in the TSN-1. I have neither so can't really agree or disagree. Buy which ever one you can get the be...

I agree the FAS has a long first stage. The pistols do not have the adjustability of, say a Pardini SP, but there is some adjustments in there to play with. I always take up the first stage while in the ready and have just made that part of my shot process. Don't really notice it anymore. The 603 ha...

The FAS 607 is a .22lr, I suspect you mean a FAS 603 which is .32long. I feel the FAS pistols are underrated because my pistols are excellent shooters. I use a .312 bullet because all others left excessive leading, the barrel measured at .308. I use 1.3gr. of VV310 with excellent results at 25 yards.

Alan, that is a good analogy about the video camera, some people use them to good effect in shooting also. To your comment about a newer shooter not reliably executing a ten I always recommend either blank target shooting for group (instead of a single shot value) and more dryfire. I think that when...

NB, there is a small group here that really only wants to reinforce what they already know, a mistake chart is the gospel here. They only want to talk, in depth, about how they shot a 7. Some people would rather buy cases of ammo to shoot 7's rather than buy Bashhams tapes and learn positive trainin...

I asked this same question myself of some of the armorers at Perry. They seemed to think that Colt made a good barrel, as well as others. If you're starting from scratch, you may as well have the barrel you have fitted first and see what your smith has to say. 6string speaks the truth, For many yea...

I'm always learning. Thanks for the info RMinUT. If the gun was built by one of the top names or a military armorer, it looks like a very good deal to me. Citizen, you might look for some markings on the underside of the slide when you take it apart. This might give a clue to who made the gun. My C...

Jack, I haven't loaded any rounds to Sams' specs, I heard his load data was peppy. I believe the AA ammo is around 1150fps, Sams' recommend load data is probably well over than that. If I remember correctly the issue ball is over 1200fps and felt much peppier than the AA rounds I had. I find it inte...
