Re: Old vs new Pardini
The older SP I had came with an adjustable grip just like my new SP. Comparing my old SP with my new SP that has tungsten weights we didn't see any benefit getting a new one. The only difference between my two. You can't adjust the 1st stage trigger pull on the older guns as they don't have an adjus...

Pardini dry fire plugs
I seem to have "misplaced" the black plug shortly after getting a new .22 SP, are they an improvement over using plastic drywall anchors in the SP ?

Re: Pardini SP: Trigger has stopped running smoothly
My almost new SP recently started also started "feeling rough" at the start of the 2nd stage.
Today I applied moly grease following Pardini's recommendation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aR1nD387EhA
Instantly feels normal again.

I always wondered if the triggers on a Triace were quickly adjustable for CF, SP and RF or were you using 1360g for everything?

Re: pardini sp trigger reset is very slow
Thanks for the colored diagrams, I found them really helpfull and now my trigger resets but with a noticable click which I find reassuring knowing that the next pull of the trigger will work. Attempting to reduce the overall trigger weight from almost 1800g closer to 1100g I found that the "out...

Why not ask this question on the cdn gun nutz site, I believe you'll have better luck.

Anyone had any experience using one of these on Olympic type pistols, good or bad?
A friend is in the process of fitting one on his Hammerli 280, more on that later, anyone else?

Re: Oiling Top Round in Semi-Auto Magazines?
My Pardini SP is more reliable when clean than when I oil the top round, usually I shoot CCI SV but I have had occasional bad boxes in some cases that just didn't function so I turfed them, then different boxes were fine.

Using Megalink target system?
I have been focusing on the front sight before raising my pistol to shoot in SP, CF & RF as recommended by Skanaker, works well for turning targets and audio set ups. I used the Megalink system in Calgary for the first time and found myself having to look at the target area to see the lights to ...

One multidisciplined shooter that comes to mind shot in four Olympic games on Canada's pistol team and later became a match winner in IPSC events and rifle.

I read recently that the Mk2 rugers are ok to dryfire but only if a "certain part" is still present, couldn't find it on the parts list so I haven't tried it yet.

As you are in British Columbia just thought I'd mention that Northern Ropes quoted me $70 to hydro statically test, install a dip tube (syphon), and refill my 20lb tank. I was told that CO2 should also be available in Abbotsford for the Provincials on the Victoria Day long weekend in May, see you th...

Re: Material for an FAS 607 Pistol?
Thanks for the pics Leon, confirms that, indeed, my 607 has a complete buffer and was already good to go. Tried a few different brands of ammunition, CCI std vel doesn't even fit in the mag, just too long, settled on S&B sv as its 1mm shorter than CCI. First time shooting, I am really impressed ...

Re: Material for an FAS 607 Pistol?
When I "stripped" the 607 I expected to see a buffer pad similar to the ones on Pardini SPs, visible, at the rear of the slide. At the rear of the 607s "aluminum" reciever I can see a rectangular steel (magnetic) piece with a hole in the middle that aligns with the back of the fi...
