weight/balance/whatever
Hello; Doesn't the IZH 35 have a lower bore line than the other pistols mentioned? Would this change the recoil characteristics such that many people may not need as much weight toward the muzzle? Thanks, Ralph Smalley ps- I'm not a rapid fire shooter, and I don't play one on television. It was just...

target backers
I have seen target backers in catalogues. I am guessing they are used to get cleaner holes punched in the target, and to keep the thin paper target flat in the target holder. Can you glue the target backers to the target with glue stick? I do this at home with heavy poster board and it seems to work...

Hey folks; I am back again, new digs and another new career (again) but it looks like I'll be here a while and get to start shooting once again. Again! I have an IZH 46M and an IZH 35M. I am not a very good shooter, but I am working on it. Again! How you hold the gun has a big influence on where it ...

I apologize for a re-post, but I can't find the original.
I am in the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area for the next month.
Is there anywhere near here where I can shoot my air pistol?
Thanks,
Ed

I had the same problem with a Winchester 52E.
I ended up buying a ball end mill and a dovetail cutter and making the mount myself (I used the machine shop at work on a sunday).

trigger shoe
Mine is 2003 vintage and it is the same way.
There is a guy on the web who makes a replacement trigger for the IZH 35M. Maybe he can make you a custom unit, as it is a simpler shoe to mfg than the IZH 35M.
I am trying to find the web site. I'll post it if I do.
Later,
Ed

Are you anywhere near Newport News?
I may be down that way for a few weeks in April and I would very much like to see a FP match if the work schedule allows.
Thanks,
Ed

It is my dream to do exactly what you have done. I shot at a small club in Ohio that had a novel approach (it works for them). The targets are outside and there is a door at every shooting point. You open the upper half of the door and hold the muzzle/gun outside when shooting. Neat idea, and it wor...

Finally found a place to shoot...
indoors, that is. I am back in cold weather country this year, so I needed a covered place to shoot. I went to a club hosting in indoor pistol shoot yesterday and won 70 bucks. That paid for my first year membership plus lunch, so now I have a place to shoot. Dues will only be 20.00 a year after thi...

reverse engineering spring
You don't need the manual, you just need to measure the compressed length and it would be fairly simple to remove it and the rod and measure the force required to compress it to that length.
I bet it's on the order of 5-6 pounds, so a trigger scale may work.

bench sighting the IZH
I'd get a bunch of paper targets and shoot away. You can do it off bags or laying down, if you can see through the scope. The point of impact will, more than likely, have to be adjusted anyway, when you start shooting standing. You are just going to get it close on the bench and fine tune it standin...

TOZ 35 spring
If I can get a piece of TOZ 35 spring I will manufacture one piece of this assembly.
I will then send it to Wulffe (www.gunsprings.com) and see if they can make a progressive spring for this application.
Anyone know where I can get a piece of TOZ mainspring?

Smaller bushing
Hello; Maybe this will help you out. I am not sure what the bushing looks like on the Little Dandy, but if it is metal, you may try filling it with JB Weld and then drilling it out to the volume you need. Or you can sleeve it with Delrin, or polyethylene, or a hardwood such as maple or dogwood. Powd...

That's american gutter slang for "umph". You might look at the International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association rules. The targets not round, but they have established parameters for energy required to topple them and for target construction. Both single falling targets and resettable...

I wonder if the dreaded 60 hz flutter is perceptible after these lamps age a bit. I is quite noticable from the periphery in straight lamps. Some are more sensitive to it than others.
