I was/am interested to hear any tips on improving my gun hold. mainly because I know it will increase my results, yes it is only one area to the total package, but an important one. steve, most things discussed arent the absolute. they just help make it easier. having a better hold is not essential,...

Do you make the olympic team, medal, or just club champ in issf events?

Steve, thats debatable. thats why I said not always the case. if you focus better, but have poor hold, you may whip them if they are not focusing well, even with the better hold. I wouldnt confuse consciously shooting, against shooting with anxiety. one will shoot their average group size, one wont....

Hi steve, I made the statement because the general concensus is we all wobble a lot, and how do we expect to be the best considering the results they shoot. the point being, they hold better, but that doesnt mean they are better. "they" being the national team members in issf events, which...

mmm, thats interesting. never recommend physical exercise before a comp. it is better to keep calm. waking up well before is good, like 4 hrs, mind games are good, stretching is good if you have a routine of doing it. you need to be awake, not half asleep. But in saying that, if exercise helps you b...

One other thing, if the trigger weight is set to low, the weight can become inconsistent, causing her to pull it, as it wont go off when she wants. not sure the weight, but fwb can become unstable if set very light. once you go down far enough you get on the seer weight, not trigger weight. maybe it...

From what you are saying, I imagine you have little weight on the first stage, and to much on the second, and trigger control issues I dont shoot rifle, but suggest you put 60-70% weight on the 1st stage, then the weight is not changed much on firing, reducing the follow through, and creating better...

I tried the mounts together, but the slightest knock would put it off point of aim, and not much adjustment for eye releif. so modified it.
but will get you started.

forget the 300s running target C60 has provision for scope mounts. dove tailed barrel, but not good for cross training. the rifle one has provision for a rear peep sight. if you are mechanically inclined, it is not to hard to mount a riser block to the alloy trigger block,(rear mount dove tail) and ...

this is an old thread, what you draggin it up for bill? yes you need to train matches, not train to train yes there is such a thing as a win pill, thats why we have to piss in the bottle. yes the exemption forms are long winded. the cost of testing is high, around $1000 for a full test, So different...

Yes sometimes it happens that way andrew, not all the time. Welcome to the forum acetan, the P70 hadnt been released when I got mine, the serial number is in the 80's, the prototypes were made out of brass, reg etc. which had the very very low numbers. eg 001 which I think manfed kurtzer had. mine h...

when the P70 first came out fwb made one up for me using parts from their display, the base was a C62. (barrel and stock) they then added a P70 regulator, trigger assembly, and valve. was a while ago. sure it was a C62, was there a model after that? as I said, it would be expensive, and cylinders. I...

Dont quote me, but would think it was a mid/late 80's model, superseded by the c61 c62 etc then the P70 compressed air, think the c62 can be upgraded to a P70, but would be expensive. The C is for CO2, so sounds to expensive to me as CO2 is not that popular. look for a compressed air one, or a cheap...
