There has been a lot of talk recently about the Browning MkII & MkIII. What is the general opinion on the Beretta U22 Neo? I like the look of this plinker, and it comes in many different styles & barrel lengths. There doesn't seem to be very many "aftermarket" parts though.

I was told by my coach to fire the shot during the natural pause between exhaling and inhaling. That way you are not holding your breath, or forcing your lungs to do anything unnatural. I generally shoot prone, and by breathing looks like this: (load round) deep cleansing breath, inhale, exhale, inh...

For under $500 you're going to have to look at used, and that usually isn't a big deal. For $500 you could probibly get a Marlin 2000 or 2000L. They are pretty good for starters, but are a little small for adults. I have one, and I like it for indoor 4-P during the winter. You might be able to find ...

Unertl Scopes
You might want to check with Dewy Grenier at http://www.alexweb.net/unertl/. He is very informative on the older Unertl scopes. You might be able to get that owner's manual. He has a LOT of scopes (Unertl, Lyman, Redfield) for sale. Reasonable prices, too.

Have you contacted the NRA Range Development people? I'm sure that they will be able to answer most of your questions, and make sure your range is up to all safety standards. Check out their Weeb site at http://www.nrahq.org/shootingrange/development.asp. Good luck, and don't let the anti-gunners ge...

Marlin Model 2000L
I actually own a Marlin Model 2000L. It is a decent starter rifle, but there is limited adjustability. I would not recommend one for adults because it is kind of small, but for youth it should be alright if they are not sure if they like shooting yet. You can use the Marlin for a year or so, but the...

3X Air Top Gun - Rifle
I love this quote directly from the match program! It's great! "If you are mean, nasty or just plain irritable or late for your relay, there will be an additional $10.00 (US) fee per incident for putting up with you." Hey, what the heck. This match is only an extra $5 (US), $25 for pistol ...

Rimfire Rifle Barrel Cleaning Suggestions
I mentioned this earlier, but this is directly from the Lilja Precision Rifle Barrels Website. Rimfire Maintenance Cleaning Rimfire Barrels Rimfire rifle barrels are different from centerfire barrels in that they require very little cleaning and essentially no break-in procedure. We have asked sever...

Rifle Cleaning
I try to remember to clean my rifle every time I shoot it. It is a Winchester 52E with a Lilja barrel. Lilja recommends running a dry patch throught the barrel every 100 rounds. If you can get a hold of the Shooting Sports USA article about rifle cleaning, it is quite enlightening. Many of the top s...

Targettalk Display
Is it just me, or has the display on Targettalk been reversed? It used to be black text on a white screen. Now it's white text on a black screen. I don't think it's my computer as it is showing up this was on two different machines. Any ideas?
