I started shooting air pistol about 2 months ago and am now looking for a place to put my pratice to the test. I live in St. Louis and will be 16 in September. I already shoot precision ar, so i know some of those comptitions, but don't know how to find info about local or regional matches. I would ...

Rapid-Fire AP's?

I've heard a lot about 5 shot semi-auto AP's. What type of competition are they used for and are there any governing bodies for that type of competition?

average scores

Just to get an idea of the talent in this vast internet world, i would like to know some of your average scores and how many shots fired in a normal week. I typically shoot in the 510-515's, but I'm new (had an izh for about 4 weeks now, and shoot about 175 pellets a week)

mad minute

I was wondering if anybody out there has heard of the mad minute. You put as many shots as possible on target in a minute. Sounds like a fun way to train for rapid timed fire.

sights

I shoot a izh 46m and was wondering if there is an easy way to shorten the sight radius. When i shoot my CO2 plinker which has a 3.5'' sight radius, it seems there is no movement. I put a nice walter red dot on that walther plinker and it shoots pretty good.

thanks

I KNOW i shoot better when i'm sick. Several of my team mates are like this also. I think you don't think about your job or whatever and just get the job done in a good way

NOP

I bet your Natural Point of Aim shifted. I've had it happen when i'm shooting tens, then all of the sudden i'll shoot 2 sevens in the same hole. I'll set the gun down and start over: back to normal

747 problems

I have shot a izh 46 and a daisy 777 and i can shoot the daisy better despite the lesser trigger. I plan to buy a 747 and want to find good grips for 10m shooting. Also I would like to know if anybody out there has any comments on the pistol. Thanks

response

I want to keep it simple. I am a certified scuba diver so a tank is possible but i rather not. I just want something that won't hold me back. I would shoot 10m for fun plus hopefully sectionals/regionals and beyond. The gamo looks good but i don't here much about it. the izzy looks the best, but the...

NEW AP SHOOTER NEEDS INPUT ON GUNS

I'm not new to shooting (metalic, 10 m rifle, shotgun sports) but I just shot a izh 46m and im hooked. I'm low on cash and looking for a begining gun. I'm looking into an izzy, gamo compact, or a daisy 747 or 777. If any body out there has advice, please give me a post. I know those guns are in diff...
