I think the LP2 is the better choice, it even has the benefit of being a little lighter which is very good for starting out. Regarding the barrel ports on top - you won't miss them. Stuff like that is just a bonus, what matters more is the fundamentals of the pistol itself - manufacturing quality, b...

As an LP500 owner I have to say that if Umarex/Hammerli/Walther cannot provide reliable service and repair in your area, then I think they have sadly already made the decision for you, I would check if Steyr would have similar problems in your region. That aside, the LP500 is a tricky gun. I would d...

I have to preface that this is very subjective, but here's what I would keep in mind: First train without any weight, as it exposes poor trigger technique easier and allows you to focus on other more important variables first, such as the grip, trigger, and most importantly your own technique (perso...

Re: I Need Advice on Improving Air Pistol Precision

You may think I'm kidding, but a shot or two of booze before you start may give you surprising results. I've posted this before, but I was shooting next to a Russian neuro-surgeon; he told me it was common practice for them to have a little vodka before a brain operation to reduce "essential t...

If you still want to try the MeshPro grip, then I suggest paying extra for the hand scan. It definitely does fit better if you do, otherwise you'll simply be getting another grip that doesn't fit you, except this one can't be modified like a wooden one can. I do suggest keeping your default grip tho...

There's not a lot of information out there. I will say that if you're just starting out it might be worth waiting to see what you even want from your grip before ordering a custom 3D one. The base p8x grip is designed by Morini and is straight up one of the best you can get out of the box.

From Rink's web site, it looks like the P44 grip is unique, and no other pistols' grip will fit: https://www.formgriffe.de/en/Standard-grips/ISSF-Air-Pistol/?order=name-asc&p=2 It's worth noting that the reason Rink distinguishes between the p11 and p44 grip, is because the latter's original gr...

If you're set on buying a gun, you can find used FWB 65's for as little as 250eur if you're lucky on egun. It's probably the cheapest match grade air pistol you can find, and I genuinely can't praise it enough. My personal first purchase was a FWB 100, which I think is not as good as the older 65, b...

Re: FWB P44 grips

The P8X grip will not fit your P44. If you are looking for a grip replacement, I recommend you contact a local retailer to confirm but I believe the P11 grip would be compatible as its essentially a simplified P44. Another note, FWB grips are generally one size larger than other brands, so your obse...
