I checked ISSF website and am having a hard time finding events for Rapid Fire
USAShooting website doesn't seem to bring anything up except for a training event in Feb earlier this year
Where do I compete in Rapid Fire style that's hosted at the Olympics, particularly in the USA?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: Home Live Training Systems
If time is the limiting factor, dry fire with the SCATT. It's very quick, and you don't have to waste time fiddling with pellets, filling cylinders, filling scuba tanks, etc. That’s the plan! But it’s mentally refreshing to see progress or lack of, hence looking for a live fire platform. AP Ranges ...

Home Live Training Systems
So I’ve ordered a SCATT and realize that if I want to test my progress I’ll need to shoot more often. With time being the limit I’m looking at: MegaLink https://megalink.no/info/en/issf/3d-score/ and SQ10 https://sportquantum.com/en/sq10/ I’ve seen posts comparing megalink and SIUS but not these two...

Re: Scatt USA not responding
Any news yet? I’ve called them a few times the past week but no response from contact form to voice mail. Was considering just ordering a MX-W2 online but now your post makes me hesitant

Re: CF Air Tank for p8x
I have a nice CF tank but would get this had it been available back then. https://gxpumpofficial.com/collections/gx-pump/products/gx-e-cs2-pcp-air-compressor It will fill that pistol in under a minute and you won’t have to screw with going to get your tank filled. GX has a battery powered version t...

Men’s 10m Olympic AP Slots 2028
Since the Olympics is coming to the United States, does that mean the USA will have a 10m AP men’s slot? Or is it a competition the USA doesn’t compete in
Thanks

Best training at home
Hi guys, I’m on a work binge for a while and want to optimize 20-40min of training while at home. I’m looking at: 1) W2 Scatt system 2) Megalink system or similar but shooting lead free pellets through p8x and/or p85. I live in a studio apartment and have 15m clearance. If I go the Megalink or simil...

Re: CF Air Tank for p8x
Dry firing the FWB P8X shouldn't use any compressed air, at all. There is a button on the P8X that you push to one side for dry fire, and to the opposite side for live fire. I would be required to cock the pistol after every shot without air though, right? I want to avoid that down time I have a ni...

CF Air Tank for p8x
Looking for a CF air tank for p8x and p85 I imagine a 4500 tank and 75cu ft would last me several dry fire days(100shot/days, that’s how much I dry fire each day for EIC training, at least) although a Hill Mk5 sounds interesting for $$ saved overall I’ve read: https://www.targettalk.org/viewtopic.ph...

Pellets for a newbie
Hi guys! I’ve read Rovers post, https://targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=52250 , about what pellets are okay to buy but he never mentioned these: AHG Pellets that 500 for $3 https://oberleenterprises.com/product/ahg-premium-match-rifle-pellet-tins-4-49-24842/ This fits the bill for recommended...

Re: CM200ei or p85
Did you try the Walther Lp500 electronic one? As for me, I am thinking to get the cm200ei or the lp500 electronic master. I haven't, have you handled both? Between a 1 shot and a 5 shot pistol, I would go for the single shot pistol first, as it is the one you will use the most and you can use it to...

Re: Case Neck Tension with Lead Wadcutters
Case neck tension is critical in high powder rifle reloading, but how critical is it in pistol reloading with lead projectiles ? How do you set your neck tension when loading .32 sw long or .38 special with wadcutters ? Do you use the typical 0.001",0.002" or 0.003" interference meth...

CM200ei or p85
Hi guys, I primarily shoot Bullseye but want to get into 10m AP and Rapid Fire. Right now I’m looking for an AP for the convenience of dry firing vs pulling back the hammer on my firearms. Buy once, cry once is my thing I was lucky to be able to dry fire most of the popular models at Camp Perry and ...
