It can only be done by a qualified gunsmith and it is critical to the accuracy, not to mention safety, of the rifle.

There is no optimum setting, each rifle's different.

There is no allen key to adjust as far as i know lol

In short, leave it alone.

You can swap the base block for a walther one.

Centra make them (as they also make the DUO for Anschutz)

If it has an Anschutz base it won't fit.

Sauer also now make a range of thermal and cool weather underwear in addition to their more traditional cardigan. Personally I use a Gehmann lightweight vest that hugs the body and it really thin and cooling with light elbow padding and a Mouche cardigan on top of that which is very similar to the a...

518 clearview will be useless indoor, no flags to view!

My vote would be the Gehmann 595

Are the centra pro 57 sights and gehmann that you recomended good quality or are there better sigths for not a whole lot more? Do they still make the gehmann 594 or is there any where I could get one? Also has anyone tried t...

I think that was just an extension for the shorter barrelled 20xx series, not an extension tube they made for all their rifles.

Some people bought the shoter barrel to save weight, it seems it was just as accurate as the 690mm barrel more commonly seen

I've never heard of a problem with a Gehmann iris and I've sold one or two of them!

They have a 30 year guarantee as well so you should be well covered.

Excellent choice of iris by the way!

@Ryanintershoot The anschuetz makes the extension pre fixed with the collar. the TENMINATOR is just a new item [read fancy]on their list. The collar isn't fixed to the tube on the TENMINATOR, its in two parts which are both supplied, the same as MEC and Barry Neesom. Means you can quickly fit and r...

A lot of people use that set-up for prone with good success. I was never a fan of the Anschutz ALU stock simply because it is cast, not machined but there sure is a hell of a lot of them about and I've only heard one or two stories of them breaking.

Any glove by Anschutz, Gehmann, Kurt Thune, Sauer, Kustermann etc will do the job.

Personally I like the Anschutz Thermo Star and the Gehmann 466

Yeah the ALU stocks can vary greatly on torque settings.

Also if you want to dismantle to clean the barrel/action you will want the action back in at the correct torque.

For £45 ($90) its well worth the money

The adjustable slings are excellent in my opinion. 1) When shooting a card with 6 or 10 diagrams, you will be aiming at different heights, the facility to quickly adjust your sling length is useful in these circumstances. 2) Also in a long shoot 60 shots etc, your clothiny may start to sag near the ...

The only difference as the last poster said is the range of adjustment. The 1.8 sacrifices the larger adjustment range for a more precise adjustment. My rear aperture is usually 1.0>1.4 so the smaller 1.8 iris would be fine for me, and then I would be able to fine tune my size better than the 3.0 ir...

When that buttplate was made, there were no ALU stocks, so thr carrier was shaped for wood. (AFAIK)

But you will be able to mount the plate on your ALU buttplate carrier
