Dear members, While this is not the specific answer to the original question, I will like to share my 1 cent advice... Vacuum seal (food vacuum sealer) the tin cans that you will not be using for a while and use a reusable vacuum container (plastic) for the pellets that you will be using…Re-seal (va...

Dear members, While you can still acquire a pellet gun in México (MENDOZA air rifles) YOU CAN NOT import (temporary or permanently) air guns into México without a permit. It is true, air guns are not regulated as firearms in the Mexican law named “Ley Federal de Armas de Fuego” but it is a fact that...

Steve, I have hunted and competed in live pigeon shooting in México and this is my humble advice: DO NOT attempt to bring any weapon (Air-firearm or fake) into México without a special permit...You will be arrested no matter what and will go thru a lot of trouble for regaining your freedom. México's...

Dear Paza, Not necessarily, electronic triggers are widely used in rapid Fire (.22 Rim Fire) and in mostly all other disciplines because it allows DRY FIRING for practicing. If you want to shoot 10M with an air pistol, an electronic trigger is not going to give you any advantage over a mechanical on...

Dear Rob, Absolutely, you are right about the electronic triggers being allowed in all ISSF competitions...I agree with you. Nevertheless, since Paza was not clear as to where he wants to compete or with what kind of weapon. He mentioned a "weapon with bullets" which could be a pistol, rif...

Dear Paza, You have to provide more information about what you intend to do; "shooting accuracy" is pretty much the common denominator in all competitions. What is your budget? ....What do you want to acquire? ( A pistol or a rifle? are you going to shoot 10M with air? or 25 or 50M with pi...

Dear Seamaster, You most likely have enough strength in your trigger finger for pulling any competition trigger... If you really need to exercise your fingers, you are much better off getting a GRIPMASTER; you will then be able to also exercise your gripping fingers. The best way to "exercise-t...

Jawedumer, In 45 years of shooting top brands of pistols, rifles and shotguns, I have never seen any High End Gun Manufacturer compromising about the groups that their guns shoot or will shoot....They usually only provide you with a test target. You must be very well connected with Pardini for getti...

I slightly agree with your disagreement superstring... FWB and other gun manufacturers use silicon based lubricants and Teflon in their guns and this is what I meant when I said: "If you can get some FWB ...use it" FWB (Feinwerkbau) is just one of the gun manufacturers who sell these O rin...

Hi Mesa, Try releasing the pressure from the pump after your cylinder has been fully charged....If you are using a manual pump, then there should be a pressure release screw at the bottom of the pump. Removing the cylinder while under pressure makes it difficult... If your problem is while removing ...

Hello Wingnut,

Use a large diameter Bass/trout fishing net or a Boat Net-Scooper (similar products) for catching the cases.

Use your creativity for adapting it to your special needs.

Hello members, Pardini definitely says that there are “changes to the bolt and barrel” but Pardini considers the front part of the pistol just ahead of the barrel as part of the barrel itself even though this is part of the recoil reduction system. I visited a dealer in Spain and saw both guns; he a...

Thank you so much David...

I always thought that the bench's edge was right at the firing line but now I realize that this is not the case...

Someone emailed me The ISSF Technical Rules and rule 6.3.15.4.3 shows the bench's edge .10M in front of the firing line...Se also 6.3.15.2.1

Mmmm, this is a very interesting question… I have never thought about it carefully... I have set my ranges this way and have placed the bench/gun rest so it is right behind this line... But if 10 M is from the front of the target to the firing line (firing line is narrow enough so there is no front ...
