Thank you so much for this information David, I had parts of these rules but nothing as complete and updated... Yes, absolutely... the macjines have been measured with a caliper for maximum precision according to these measurements. I had the distances for ctc for the 25m targets and also for the 10...

Rapid Fire Turning Target Machines and Clubs

Dear Forum Members: I am building 2 Rapid Fire Turning Target Machines… One will be used outside for shooting .22 and the second one is for indoor/air shooting. I found no commercial equipment of excellent quality and the only good machine I found was the GEHMANN (http://www.gehmann.net/pages/e-deta...

You wrote: “Did you experience velocity loss during consume of a cylinder full of air?” With either 200 or 250 BAR the velocity remained at around 503-510 fps from the first to about the 75th-80th shot…. I have never let the cylinder to get fully empty, this is just a common practice I use with all ...

Dear Metermatch, With all respect, I have to disagree with you about the Mexican labor... The .22 rim fire line of production in AGUILA is FULLY AUTOMATIC and the only labor involved is for loading the containers of powder, lead alloy, etc. no human hand touches anything involved in the actual manuf...

I am going to have to disagree with the people who say AGUILA is not good… Aguila factory started its operations in Cuernavaca, México….They initiated their operations from scratch, meaning that they started a factory with the state of the art equipment and technology...Non of our REMINGTON, WINCHES...

Thank you all for your inputs… The concept that “Your rifle will out shoot you” or “Any of these guns will out shoot you” has never been part of my shooting philosophy… I don’t compete against my rifle, I shoot teaming up with it, and the better we both shoot the better the output… For competition, ...

Thank you all for your kind responses.... No, I don't think anyone can shoot better than any of these rifles....I have never been arrogant and shooting better than the capabilities of these rifles never crossed my mind… My question is more about the reliability, the overall long term experience, the...

FWB MODEL 700 or ANSCHUTZ MOD 8002 ?

Dear Forum, I just acquired a FWB 700 (universal) but many people in the club are telling me that the ANS 8002 is a much better rifle. Others exaggerate to the point of saying that the ANS is more accurate (consistent) and tell me that it has more winning records. Can somebody please advice me on wh...

Thank you for your observations Peepsight... You or I will not feel the kick of an increase in velocity from 570 to 750 fps given the very low weight of the pellets, the insignificant increase in velocity and most important, because of the weight of the rifle. If the stabilizer works at 570 fps, the...

Barrel Twist....

Thank you for pointing this out Marc… I reviewed both, the P70 FT and the 700 barrels and both have a 1:12 twist over a 12 groove barrel. These similarities in barrel specifications confirm the theory that the stabilization of a projectile is based more on the length of the bullet than on its weight...

FWB 700 to FT Specs....

Hello TargetTalk members, Does anybody know somebody converting a FWB 700 (Universal) to FT specs in the US? I know that this is going to hurt many 10m shooters' ears and will raise many eyebrows but this is the intended use I have for this rifle; the P70 FT is no longer an option because it has bee...
