Pellets para Feinwerkbau 103
Hi! I use a Feinwerkbau 103 and used to use H & N Sport Finale Match Pistol pellets and I did it in the first race, 420, in the second 463 and in the third 447 (remembering that not even two months ago I shot with a pistol! I passed oara on RWS Club to train and RWS R 10 Match for the race and d...

Re: Feinwerkbau 103-Shoot with no pellets
The problem is that just means it's over 500 grams & is therefore legal for competition. If it's at 800 grams, the increased force on the trigger can move the pistol more than if it was at 550 grams, and you will be penalizing yourself unnecessarily. The weight approach is the definitive test f...

Re: Feinwerkbau 103-Shoot with no pellets
It depends a lot of the particular design of the pistol, but in general, releasing air without the resistance of a pellet puts unusual stresses on things. I don't think it's too bad for most PCP pistols, and probably for single stroke pneumatics like the 103, but it will definitely damage spring ai...

Feinwerkbau 103-Shoot with no pellets
I have the dry shooting system broken on my FWB 103. Is it bad to shoot without the pellets, just with the air? It's because I had to adjust the trigger to eliminate stage one and shoot as soon as I touch the trigger and had to shoot without the pellet.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Trigger for ISSF 10 meters sensitive
I'm not quite sure what the OP meant about drag on the trigger. The goal is consistency. Unless you are shooting centerfire with heavy recoil to deal with, you don't need to apply ANY pressure to the side of the pistol with your thumb or your finger tips. If you do, and there is any variation in th...

Re: Trigger for ISSF 10 meters sensitive
Getting a "surprise shot" is useful to avoid subconscious changes in your grip in anticipation of the shot. Do NOT think about firing the shot. Ideally, it should all be automatic & you shouldn't be thinking at all. However, when you are training & learning, it helps to think abou...

Trigger for ISSF 10 meters sensitive
I have a FWB 103 and I did 4 matches! I knew when I fired because I had the drag and then I stopped and I knew exactly when I was going to shoot, but on the advice of a lot of people, I adjusted to not know when I'm going to shoot, that is, the pressure is always the same and I'm squeezing until the...

Re: Feinwerkbau 103 (Christmas gift from my brother)
OMG! What will you do now that you have no excuses? Excuses? I don’t need excuses!just having fun😁 LOL! Exactly! While having fun, there are many reasons for those pesky fliers and loosening groups. Some we can control relatively well. Others, particularly physical issues, can be more difficult. Ha...

Re: Can a Feinwerkbau 103 win a P44???
It's not the arrow - it's the Indian! Nice looking pistol BTW. I own a FWB 100 and at my skill level there's not that much difference in results with it and my "best and most modern" AP, an Anschütz LP-@. But the latter is less tiresome to shoot so that's what I use in competitions. Yes b...
