I thought my IZH46M was tough.
Not!
This past Friday night as I was starting my practice at our monthly 10M match the cocking linkage on the 46M broke.
I cannot get the parts and if it cannot be welded I will probably part it out.
The grips are worth $350.00+..

Re: Air gun support SH2
Very good question.
I know they use these things at the rifle range at the VILLAGES Senior Center in Florida.
I was thinking I could make one maybe out of an old coat rack…

Re: WTB - 10m Air Pistol
While the Crosman 2300S is called, “Silihouette”, it will do nicely for 10M for young hands. As they get older more expensive pistols can be purchased. Soon, I will be 80 and I have a very nice IZH46M that will shoot better than anyone needs. But for all around fun the 2300S with open sights is the ...

Re: Daisy 499B Barrel Cleaning
The 499b is a muzzle loader. You roll the BBs down the barrel to the magnet. You cannot shoot cotton swabs. However, there are cotton swabs that have a very long stick (medical supplies). Those could be inserted (stick end first) from the back of the barrel with some alcohol on it to clean the barre...

Re: Shooting Range Setup - Basement
Yes. I forgot about rubber mulch. I use large Priority Mail boxes from USPS. Mulch from Home Depot . When shooting use duct tape from time to time to cover the holes. When box can no longer be shot dump everything into a large bucket. I use my empty shop vac. Fill with water and the rubber floats to...

Re: Location of lights in indoor shooting range
At Diablo, during the winter we shoot indoors.
The targets are on the walls.
Lights are clamped onto chairs in front of and below the targets.
Hopefully you can see the lights in the photo..

Re: Cateracts and seeing the target
I am 78. I had both eyes worked on four years ago by a colonel in the Air Force. (I am retired.) He was just back from the desert. He asked me what type of lenses did I want? I told him my killing partner in Kansas chose both near and far (and has to wear corrective lenses all the time but, as all m...

Re: Shooting after premium lens replacement eye surgery?
Jason, you made the right choice. I had Cadillac (sic) surgery four years ago. Air Force colonel just back from the desert did it. He asked what I wanted, near or far? I said all I do is shoot so I think I need far. He said I was correct. Now I have 20/15 distant vision in both eyes and use reading ...
