Re: Steyr LG-100 Cylinder Gauge Damaged
It's a cheap item but probably not by the time you've found the exact match.
If you have the tools a replacement is a 2 min job. Steyr do quick fill conversions for the lg110. Might be worth looking into for the lg100 to see if they fit.

Re: New ISSF Rules - Partial Summary
Yep that. And... Visors have also been touching rearsights. Anatomically shaped grips and grip tape on pistol grips. Pistol grips touching chests. All in Issf World Cup or Olympic finals this year.

Re: New ISSF Rules - Partial Summary
And that is new? Nope, but having had several goes at it, you'd think there'd be some learning happening. No lower limit on butt plate. Limit on butt stock. So have a shallower butt stock and a deeper butt plate. Behind the grip. The original interpretation was to give a shooter the benefit of the ...

Re: New ISSF Rules - Partial Summary
Very badly worded. What's the centre of the butt-stock on an already angled and offset butt section like FWB/Walther, or something custom...? No lower limit on butt plate. Limit on butt stock. So have a shallower butt stock and a deeper butt plate. “Any devices or weights projecting downward or outw...

What is ludicrous is paying more attention to the logo rules than the competition rules.

Re: Why do PCP’s-Springers prefer smaller-larger size pellet
Head size is a myth on pellet tins. Go and measure some and see just by how much.

Re: Air Rifle discharged sparks
Yep, seen it before. In fact been sent a video of it happening as well. Can only assume it's tiny particles getting hot as the lead travels down the barrel. Seen it on two different PCP rifles running at about 800fps

Re: Washing pellets
Also be aware that if you get oil or lube or anything down in the regulator if your airgun it could ruin the mechanism... Ryan I wouldn't worry about that too much. To get oil into the reg it's got to get into the transfer port, past the closed and sealed knock open valve, into the reservoir, and t...

Re: ISSF supported seminar on Mental training for shooters
Al, But £200 or more to attend a one day seminar is a bit steep though. I know members can get it down to £150 if they book early. I think £100 for watching the video is a right royal rip off though. It depends on the quality of the presentation and what you think it might be worth to you. If I wer...

Re: Are there reports of catastrophic cylinder failures??
Sorry I'm not meeting your standards for evidence. There are dozens and dozens of non-removable (and removable) cylinder non-10M PCP models, and they're made by dozens of companies in a dozen countries. Just off the top of my head there's BSA, Daystate, Air Arms, Theoben, Hatsan, Crosman, Benjamin,...

Re: so why...
ISSF are simply adopting the same 10 year limit as apply to all of the European manufacturers under European law. So why doesn't this law apply to non-10M PCPs made by the same European manufacturers (and others)? Are you saying that it doesn't? As far as I'm aware they all have to put a maximum 10...

I'm pleased to say this seems to have a positive resolution. Thanks to all the help and guidance of the BASC, and the AMTA, the EFTA has been able to get this statement from Easyjet. Unfortunately easyJet's carriage of firearms policy was applied incorrectly on this occasion and so we would like to ...

Easyjet refuse Airrifle shooters for not having license...
3 EFTA Team England shooters including current World Champion refused travel from London Standsted to Bilbao yesterday because they did not have licenses for their rifles which you cannot get licenses for because they don't need one. These are target shooters representing England in an international...

If anyone measures the head size of a pellet they will most likely find the head size is a nonsense compared to the actual measurement. I haven't tried it with other brands, but JSB domed pellets are normally 4.49-4.50 no matter if it says 4.51,2,3 on the tin. Batch is more important to performance....

My advice would be to orientate yourself around the coach you have rather than seeking advice elsewhere on specific elements of training, which may completely unsuitable to you. Training programs are specific to each shooter, so they need to be tailored to match them and the resources available. Hav...

Try using some non slip/skater tape Except for the rule: 7.4.2.5 Material that gives increased grip may not be added to the forend, pistol grip or lower part of the stock. Now there is nothing that says you cannot rasp down and make rougher the stock down there. Also, I think that the hand position...
