Re: Benelli MP90S World Cup????? parts

At one time I was considering purchase of a Benelli and looked into the parts question. I found that that Cardinal Shooting Center in OH purchased the inventory of Larry's Gunsi. You may want to call over there to see who it is that can help with Benelli questions. About a year ago I was able to rea...

Re: Cast Bullet - Home Lube

I'd suggest not using petroleum jelly in the mix. My experience with it is that it has a low melt point and can contaminate the powder if the ammo is stored in hot conditions (like a trunk). YMMV. It is also possible I over did the ratio in my mix but I just avoid it now. All things considered I fin...

Re: Dry Fire Advice?

In my opinion it is best to dry fire at both a blank wall and a black bull. During my dry fire sessions I will use the blank wall for focus on sight alignment and then move on to the bull for focus on allowing the shot to break in the black - while also carrying over the experience of the blank wall...

Re: Suitable Dot Scope for Ruger Mk III ?

That's a sweet looking rig. The two tone look is great. A 261-8 is a great start IMO with all the new add ons and sight picture. Those changes will take some time to get used to. You don't want to start with a 300-30 because it would be even harder to improve :)

Re: Suitable Dot Scope for Ruger Mk III ?

It is a matter of preference but my recommendation would be a regular 1" tube Ultradot with 4 moa dot. I have shot them for years in BE discipline without many problems and their customer support is good. Your Ruger Mk3 probably came with a scope mount and the rings supplied by Ultradot will fi...

Re: Pdf’s of shooting targets?

It may be covered in some of the links above but the below site works well as you can scale targets to whatever distance you want. Not sure if ISSF targets are the 10m AP is. I've used it before and it works well just need to read the directions on the site.

Re: Is it likely that a .32 S&W long wadcutter can be reloaded on a progressive?

Robjob I got it tightened down pretty well (too the point of drag) and have the turbo bearing installed too. Thinking I may have gotten a bad or wrong shell plate and contacted Dillon. I haven't had such problems with the many other calibers I load. The single stage primer arm is getting old already...

Re: Home electronic target options

I'm glad you sent pics Xman that looks almost identical to my set up. I'll also add that one is able to do some shooting drills using paper that aren't practical with ETS - such as shooting at a vertical line instead of round bull. My coach recommended that as most of my points lost seem due more to...

Re: Home electronic target options

I know you mentioned an electronic target system, but an alternative is to just set up a pellet trap and shoot paper targets. This doesn't necessarily mean low tech though. My system consists of a pellet trap, projector tripod on wheels to get the trap at correct height, clip on LED light to shine o...
