With responding to Kirtar, almost all competitors will easily shoot a 5 shot series in a couple of minutes. However, what the timer does is allow you to see exactly how much time you have left if you suffer from malfunctions or get chicken finger, blurred vision, or any other problem (such as adrena...

Most posts are directed at physical conditioning and sure - that's important. One post notes the weight issue, and given you have a new Toz35, and want to shoot FP that allows for lots of mods, therein lies the challenge - to severely reduce the overall weight starting with a cut down grip or replac...

Slow Fire Techniques
I'm not sure what others do, but for precision and slow fire events such as air pistol and 50m pistol, raising the pistol above the target and lowering to the usual hold on target is consistent and contemporaneously done with inhaling on the lift, and exhaling slightly on lowering to the target. It ...

Malfunctions
I don't own a Pardini, but I can confidently answer your question about Tony's Post! It is all about preventing malfunctions. If a quick build up of lube around the action from rounds results in malfunctions, then you wouldn't use that ammo in matches right! Malfunctions can kill what could otherwis...

The Ammo or the Gun?
I wouldn't blame CCI ammo on light strikes with a Toz35. The light strikes are probably caused by a weakened main spring or fouling in the block that prevents the firing pin from freely slamming forward. I worked through these issues last month, and got my Toz35 working fine after a thorough cleanin...

I prefer fully adjustable iron sights on a 9mm/.45. It seems like cheating with red dot sights! I must be an ISSF shooter at heart. Anyway, so when training with a 9mm, I like to practice, and test the accuracy of my reloads, at 25m, which seems to me like a reasonable distance, and I can get all th...

Horse Before Cart
Now that's a solution I like to your wife saying over chores before shooting - we say shooting before chores.
Now that sorts the taxing chores affecting shooting issue.

You have asked a practical question that I didn't think would ever get an airing on this forum! For shooters who want to compete, and also complete medium to heavy duty DIY(do it yourself) jobs, I think that good management is the key. I built a deck before Christmas in leisure time, and found that ...

Loading LP-10
I had the same problem when I started using an LP-10. The method I got used to, given there is only a small space behind the barrel loading port, is to pick up/squeeze a pellet between thumb and index finger, and load over the top of the barrel, and use the nail of the index finger to ensure back of...

GSP Original Grip
Good choice. I looked at a GSP on that website with an original grip, and that may be the one you got. The palm rest is too small, and is not the original one for that grip. I suggest you look around for a better quality grip (i.e. Rink Grip or other after market grip), while you are training..... H...
