Walter SSP discontinued?
My LGS said they contacted Walther about ordering a SSP and we’re told that Walter has discontinued the production of that model. Can anybody confirm if this is true and if true, why?

Outdoor sight settings
I’m shooting my first outdoor match and first time outdoors in about 2 weeks. It’s a standard pistol match. I may not get an opportunity to sight in at distance. Approximately how much of an elevation sight adjustment will I need from my 50 foot zero? I’m shooting a S&W Model 41 with the stock i...

Re: You rifle shooters have my respect!
I have the opposite problem. In my youth I was a 3 position and Air Rifle competitor. I was a 560+ shooter but now shoot AP and have trouble breaking 500. I guess I shouldn't complain since I started out with trouble breaking 400. If you think air rifle is tough, try Free Pistol. It' like shooting t...

Nice pair of Grips for my S&W 41
Andrew Berryhill of Precision Target Pistol Grips made a second grip for my Model 41 that is ISSF legal. it has the same feel as the grip he made for my NRA shooting. Solved my Too many disciplines problem. When I got into Pistol shooting I had no idea how much I would enjoy shooting the Internation...

Target Grips
Well it's been a long strange trip but this is my final grip solution. I have been in contact with Andrew Berryhill of "Precision Target Pistol Grips" and he has made me a wonderful set of matching grips for both my S&W Model 41 and my Randell 45 ACP. He has been great to work with to ...

Re: gun choices for .22 target
I have a different problem. I lust after a Pardini or Walther GSP however They are not allowed to be sold in NY because they are classified as assault weapons. I can't recall any evidence of any crime committed with any target rifle or pistol in the last 60 years that I have been a shooter. I settle...

Re: Shooting Glasses Advice
For "red dot sights", my normal distance prescription is perfect. I wear lined bifocals and see both target and dot clearly thru the distance area. Lenses are also corrected for my astigmatism. I use a clip on flip down on non dominant eye. For open iron sights in ISSF, I wear a one lense ...

Re: Airguns for beginners
This one is 2.7# https://www.krale.shop/us/baikal-mp-46m/ The practical reason is that these are not available in the U.S. Once a buyer gets up into the $650 price range for an Air Venturi AV-46 that is available . . . https://www.pyramydair.com/product/air- ... tol?m=5257 That makes the 1.9# Walth...

Re: special spectacles for airpistol shooters
I just bought the Varga set up for Pistol with the iris from the Bay source above, Olympic Marksman Equipment. I had the 37mm lense made up for a 36" focus. That was 1/2 way between my standard pistol front sight distance and my 12" barrel free pistol. Just last week I tried it at the rang...
