Go to airline websites and check them out.Delta was ok a couple of years ago. Also it pays to check out check bag costs for a rifle case. look under sporting equipment to see if they let you check a rifle case without the oversize penality. If not it adds a lot to cost of flying because the oversize ...

It is possible for there to be something wrong with rifle. If the shot sounded different it could be a problem. I would either group test or fire over a chronograph. I would check it after firing a lot of shots and maybe with cylinder at same level as when he had problem. I think it would take a lot ...

I think the achiever works well until they grow into a 1912 or a 1907 in a aluminum stock. The cm2 cadet is a good choice for something in between, but kids hit a pretty good growth spurt around 12 to 14, girls sooner than boys. The good thing is a 1912 or 1907 is a rifle she would never grow out of.I...

I agree with the other posts ,if she can use the achiever a little longer her next rifle can be the one that will last her.I would suggest a 1907 action in 1912 wood stock or the 2213 aluminum stock.Watch out for the 1907 in the 1907 wood stock with hook buttplate as is being sold ,its length of pul...

My son shoots a 700 fwb.His sights are raised to close to the legal limit. We ran out of height adjustment with his cheekpiece but the fix was easy.Made a aluminun spacer to go between the wood cheekpiece and the plate it bolts to.Material could have been wood or plastic instead, what ever you can wor...

I think it is ok in our area to allow a new shooter to use a highpower coat as I did when I first started. What I feel is when you shoot in a highpower coat but without the international style pants and boots you are actually at a disadvantage.I do feel this helps to get some new shooters to try smal...
