I fluctuate a lot in between the shots. Could be costly :)

walther LP500 windage adjustment

Hi everyone,

My pistol seems to shoot to the left.
Looking to the manual it says: "correction to the left, turn the screw to counterclockwise"
Is this my option or will it shift my shots further to the left?
Thanks.

Hi, What trigger you are using, if you could let us know and what benefits do you obtain with the downward slope of your trigger shoe? Thanks. It's an Anschutz sensive trigger. I had to modify it slightly to fit on my pistol, but it does work. I use the downward slope and cant on the trigger becaus...

The 2022 colors are in! Unfortunately my shooting sucks since coming back from finally catching the coof. In the meantime, a new lick of paint to improve my mood. Re: The New ISSF Air Pistol Finals Format

Showing traces would be cool but it would also be a perfect excuse to get rid of the politically questionable projectile-launching and go entirely optic. Which I'm afraid is ahead anyway, after firearms and lead are banned. It seems plausible that there will be advocates of the idea going all "...

Re: pellet consumption

Just putting pellets downrange isn't going to help. In fact, it's a great way to reinforce bad habits until they become nearly unbreakable. If you really want to learn to shoot well, try to extract as much information as you can from EVERY shot. DON"T FOCUS ON SCORES!!! Concentrate on refining...

Re: pellet consumption

The question should be how much have you dry fired and how many rounds have you shot in competition in comparison to your pellet consumption at home.Personally I don’t think that is too many 4.5 month span of time shooting at home. Hi, I dont dry fire much, have been shooting in my study instead of...

pellet consumption

Hi to all,

As a newbie, I figure out that I have fired 5000 pellets in my home range in 4,5 months. Is this too many?

Re: AP with straight back trigger rather than pinned

The grip on the lp500 can be rotated down quite a ways from this position... loosen the stock bolt on the bottom of the grip and tilt away. Be carefull as it also rotates and tilts left/right The same happens (right/left rotate) also with the screw on the side. It gave me hell of a time to tighten ...

" With so much practice going on, you should all be Olympic level shooters " It's not the amount of shooting that you do, but the quality of that shooting. There is a massive difference between practice and training. Most shooters go to the range and practice (practice all their old bad h...

Nice shooting.
I hope it is not one of those cases that something new feels good at the beginning but then the effect fades in time. Well, that is what happens to me so far.
520 is what I am trying to achieve anyway.

Re: ISSF PRESIDENTS CUP RIFLE/PISTOL 2021

The winner in women's final was kind of determined in the 9th shot out of 15. Though the french athlete got close near the end —but no avail. I like the team format for team matches. I don't like it for individual finals. The present system with two shot eliminations after ten shot is much better, ...
