Re: Toz 35 Firing Pin Spring Length
The spare (unused) firing pin spring that came with my Toz 35m is 27.5mm long.

Re: TOZ35 M
Most parts are interchangeable. Differences include the shape of the trigger guards, the front sights, the barrels and barrel band. I had to re-drill a hold in a Toz 35 grip to fit it to a Toz 35M frame.

Re: How to remove captive screw Feinwerkbau P8X grip
Great idea!
I don't have the technology to thread a rod.
Here's what I do: hold the grip and the wrench in one hand, center the nut in the hole, hold it in place, and slide the frame's "proboscis" squarely into the hole.

Cardboard box filled with rags. Recycle the boxes, re-use the rags. Costs nothing.

Re: Is the Hammerli 150 a difficult pistol?
Yes, the 150 can be repeatedly and safely dry-fired by setting and re-setting the trigger (small lever) without cocking the firing pin (big lever).

Re: Scuba tank setup for air pistol cylinder refills
It's really not that big a deal to use a hand pump to fill PCP pistol cylinders to 200 bar. See for example our host's website under Essential Information. The cheap Chinese hand pumps available on, e.g., Amazon work as well as any others.

Re: Spotting Scammers
"Victorylap's" first activity here was a response to my WTB a TOZ 35M (I'm still looking). He said he had one and asked me to call him. When I suggested instead that he send me some photos and information via this site he never replied. Beware.

Try H&N Match Green before you write lead-free pellets off.

Re: Spotting Scammers
Four days ago I posted a WTB ad re: a TOZ35 free pistol. A few days later "Jadendem" responded, saying he had a TOZ in "immaculate" condition. W'hen I asked him for some details and photographs he replied that he couldn't figure out how to post photos on the site, and asked for m...

Here is a discussion suggesting that there may be a cheaper and readily available substitute for the factory breech seals.

Re: Shooting Glasses for cheapskates
Besquareng, I am nearsighted and wear progressive lenses. I took your advice and bought some cheap ($17) plastic +1.00 clip-ons. They've been a big help, not so much because they bring the sights into focus, but because they make it impossible to focus on the target! As a result, they've made it eas...

What Rover said. If you want a wider rectangular notch, use a steel needle file.

Re: question about AV-46m (IZH-46m)
I do what Brent does (I think he suggested it in a post a few years ago): cock it by hand, then pump. I've even removed the thin lever that connects the pump linkage with the cocking lever, so I'm not tempted to use it that way.

Re: advice sought: IZH 46M malfunction FIXED
I found the problem. There is a small spring (#59) that sits in a recess in the hinge between the top of the triangular air transport piece (#58) and the bottom of the latching mechanism (#57). This spring had broken apart and the pieces were jammed in the apex of the hinge. I picked the pieces out,...

Re: advice sought: IZH 46M malfunction
Thanks for the reply, B Lafferty Unfortunately, the piece on the barrel that you describe is not the problem. It moves forward enough to allow room for the latching mechanism to descend past the top of it. But something is preventing the lip of the latching mechanism from descending far enough to sl...
