Well with tin having a specific gravity 7.31 and lead 11.35 your are going to have real balistic problems. Silver might be better at 10.46 but then .....
The bottom line is you will need some alloy that is soft and similar in weight forthe given size and that will cost!

I think there have been a lot of different variations over time. I believe you are correct. they have changed over time. Personally, I cant work with...

PS Ed Hall -Great to see you back ;) Thanks Julian, I couldn't figure out how to start a new page, but I probably need to make sure one doesn't exist yet for whatever I may address. It took me a little bit to find the Targets page.(smile) I went ahead and added some info to the TOZ 35 page as you w...

Well two years on we are still going, though we have lost contact with one the founder Titantoppler (hope he is still shooting tens). The drop will not be a real issue but weel the sights adjustment for a sub six hold with the same target size at 50m (I assume that your sights are adjusted for a sub six at 25m). Probably a little too late for next Sunday, but there are reduced size target to train for free pistol at 25m that you ...

On .32's, all kind of stuff breaks, except for the Manurhin and perhaps the Hammerli 240. I've seen 280s fall apart, SP20s, Uniques, GSPs, FAS 603, Pardinis etc. Screws come loose, axles wander, housings crack, firing pins break. ...... My guess right now is that the MG4 is as reliable and strong a...

As Richard says, if the Steyr is only getting 60 shots, something is wrong with it. It should be geting close to 200. As for what to choose, the Steyr has won more medals in World Cups, World Championships, and Olympic Games than all the others combined. The same held true in Beijing last summer. T...

Re: Centrefire trigger weight change - Why?
I can think of no valid reason for any Federation not to use the new trigger weight from 01/01/2009 (unless they issued match rules before seeing the ISSF 2009 rules). Any gun that was legal under the 2005 rules will still be legal under the 2009 rules. The Problem for the Dutch is that we have thr...
