Re: Air Pistol selection
When I said in my original post that they were similar I meant in how they allowed me to shoot as if I were shooting "sport pistol" in my garage. The triggers are not similar at all. I cannot remember now how the trigger on the LP 50 feels like at 500 g; I've set it as heavy as it goes an...

Re: Air Pistol selection
My few Eurocents: I have a Steyr LP 50 RF Compact, which I chose because it allows me to simulate several disciplines in my garage. If it's air pistol you're shooting, then you'd want something else. The trigger is, for example, not great. However, because I compete mainly in various 25-meter disci...

Re: Preventive maintenance for shoulder?
I bought a BodyBlade on Amazon. It's an amazing exercise tool for rehabbing the shoulder. You'll likely never fix the damaged tissue in the humorous/scapula contact, however, the BodyBlade can strengthen the muscles that surround it, which allows you to reduce contact pressures when "exercising...

Re: New target shooter looking for gun recommendations
FYI...I'm selling a Ruger Mk IV Hunter. I bought it for my wife, but it's too heavy for her. It has less than a brick of ammo through it. Comes with the target grips, Volquartsen trigger kit and extractor (installed), and will lift a 2# weight, so it's legal for bullseye. It also has the scope mount...

Re: Shooting Glasses Advice
Re: shooting with two eyes open, and corrected vision: does this also hold for metallic sights? I occlude my non shooting eye, it just seems strange with both eyes open, and my non-shooting eye having a different Rx than my dominant eye (-1.25 to enable front sight focus). I'm curious I'll give it a...

Steyr LP 50 Trigger/Sear Adjustment?
I have the trigger pull force up so that it will lift a 2# weight (per CMP/NRA regs). I prefer a crisp trigger release and the Steyr has a more pronounced "roll" to it at 2#. Is there anything that can be done to change that? I'm not at all familiar with Steyr AP triggers. Thanks in advance.

Steyr LP 50 Trigger/Sear Adjustment?
