Re: Sport Quantum electronic targets

Again - it is absolutely possible. Manufacturer strongly recommends wired configuration when setup is used for official matches but it will work.

Re: Sport Quantum electronic targets

It is not an issue with quantity but with reliability. You do not want signal going down during the match also depending on a range location can be dealing with signal interference. That is why it is not recommended while definitely possible since recovery from a target looking connection in the mid...

Re: Sport Quantum electronic targets

I was referring to one rolling stand per each target. Also the networked setup implies 2 switches so the cables on the target side and cables on the firing point side can be managed and combined so they are easily rolled together in a single bundle and as unrolled as easily. For the tolling stands i...

Re: Sport Quantum electronic targets

If you plan to run matches then it is recommended to use wired setup for 10+ SQ10 based range and if you are planning to run matches. You can however make things simple and do some cable management to tie them together for quick setup/ tear down and you can mount targets on a movable stand so can ro...

Re: Morini 162EI Grips

I ordered three Rink grips for Benelli Kites on October 10th last year for the team I help coach. They arrived in late February. Some of that is shipping & customs delays, but it took about 3 months to ship. I think there's been a flood of orders due to the sudden interest in Olympic air pistol...

Re: Shooting Range Setup - Basement

Few years back I documented the process of builing a ISSF spec'd home-range in a bacement (including a remote target monitoring on a cheap) and all of the costs invoived. Total cost at the time was - $133 initial setup and iterations: - https://www.facebook.com/share/p/167wQKejy2/ https://www.facebo...

Re: E-targets (recommendations)

Say for instance you were going to get 10 targets for an airgun range. Based on your experience which system would you recommend? Price is not the only consideration. Reliability, ease of use and aftermarket support is all equally important. This would be for a club looking to up their game. It wou...

Re: Meshpro and Rink hand scan grip

Here is what the Custom grip process at Rink looks like. Anything else they (and others) do is semi-custom grips which are a much better starting point than a standard OEM grip that only gives you a choice of size.

Re: Meshpro and Rink hand scan grip

if you are in US - you can contact SportShootingDepot (local MeshPro and Rink dealer) to get the grips fast and to get all your questions answered. Truly custom grip will require a trip to Germany and to book an appointment (~6 month wait). MeshPro does not have true custom option when you spend a d...

Had mine on 2 different grips for a year and a half - not going anywhere if applied over stippling. When over a smooth/polished surface - can fall off (same as epoxy)

Re: Electronic target system - for shorter distance

There is only one true target that can do that easily and on a cheap - SQ10 from SportQuantum (postil or rifle, training specialty targets, 1 click scale from 3-15m, issf phase 1 approved and phase 2 in-progress, no consumables)

Re: Right handed/left eye dominant shooting advice?

Beginner here. I have the same cross dominance combination. I shoot right handed. I don't like the idea of wearing glasses or a hat to support a blinder, so I simply started shooting with both eyes open and aligning the pistol with my left eye. This was working well for a while but I disliked how t...

Re: Right handed/left eye dominant shooting advice?

As I switched from right hand to left, i also decided to switch to the left eye (being right hand/eye dominant)

Looking over the bridge of the nose was too distracting so left hand/left eye offered the cleanest solution

You’ve got a lot more patience than I! Assuming you want the P8X, can’t you cancel your order and buy from Krale in the Netherlands? They have them in stock. Why wait 3-4 months and maybe more? Prices in Canadian dollars. https://www.krale.shop/en/feinwerkbau-p8x/ That’s $1765 US + shipping You are...

Re: Morini 200EI doesn't want to work anymore

I was about to buy a CM200EI myself . . . Good luck - there's no 200's for sale anywhere on this continent. I was going to buy a second (back-up) before possibly parting with my 162's.
