Re: uncalled rules violations??

Looking at the photo I think it might be an optical illusion. If the bridge of the nose was touching the center of the bottom of the iris would the eye line up with aperture? Try it. I am to lazy to go to the safe right now.

Re: uncalled rules violations??

I tend to think that it is “no protest = no violation.”

Excellent audio tool for you dudes during practice and matches would be Metallica’s “Master of Pistols.”

+1 on the big Cabela’s case! With yellow trim/handles. It’s great.

Re: Rear Iris

Mr. Bean, I use 2 Gehmann 510s. One on my Smallbore and one on my Palma rifle. They are simple and robust. I originally bought one for the Palma rifle that had polarizing filters and the recoil shook it apart. I like the KISS Principle. I know the SBR rifle would not beat the irises with colors and ...

Paladin M109, self-propelled howitzer. It was a true 1/2 moa (minute of acre) gun.

I’d be more interested to see if we could double-ban the rocket surgeons running the State of California.

Re: Ban

I would like to hear how much lead is transmitted into the soil, or water in the case of Lake Erie just off Camp Perry, if left unmolested after impact. It has been asserted to me in the past by the operator of a large outdoor range that he was told by a regulator (from which agency I forget) that t...

Re: Western Wildcat scores

Jamie,

Your recounting of the match reminds me of something Grandma said to me on occasion; "It's all good fun until somebody's hair starts smoking." We look forward to your return in June. Hey! June is the start of hurricane season down here:-)

Re: Simulating nerves in training

Nervousness is not always bad during competition. If you channel it effectively it can be beneficial. “Positive self-talk” comes immediately to mind to help with this. I listened to Troy Lawton speak of it to us at a clinic held by the Palmetto State Marksmen Association. In a nutshell, put a positi...

Re: ISSF Kneeling Roll Rules for 10m Air Rifle

rpm,
The rolls I bought are the “Deluxe.” Went back and measured the length and they are a tad over 9 inches. So they are ISSF legal.

Re: ISSF Kneeling Roll Rules for 10m Air Rifle

I bought two kneeling rolls from Creedmoor Sports two years ago at Camp Perry that measure 10in. x 7 in. They are definitely more substantial than the ones you get elsewhere while remaining legal. The last one I bought a year ago from Champions Choice is smaller.

Re: NCAA college air rifle score analysis

Curious; were the bikes carbon fiber in 1972 and weigh the equivalent of a Bazooka Joe gum wrapper? Is that what they are using today for that hour record? Inquiring minds want to know.
