Trigger problems and more
John, There might be a few problems other than trigger, even though the trigger is probably the one thing that is giving you the most trouble. If you are holding too long then things are going to go wrong. I will try to recal this from memory; for a good shot, we can only hold for about 12 seconds, ...

Walther .22 short conversion
I have converted one of my Walther OSP's and it functions just fine. It's almost as smooth as the .22 short version but with a little more kick to it. I like the OSP convertion and I am going to convert the other one as well. I really don't think a new state of the art .22 pistol over this conversio...

What I found out about Training Plans
What I found out so far on Training Plans is that you need to develop one for yourself if you don’t have access to a level 3 coach or better. The closest to a complete training plan that I could find so far for Adults is the USAMU Training Manual. It appears to be a very long task to develop a train...

Training Plan Information

To was trying to get information on how to start a general training plan, one that is basic, minimum requirements and that ever...

Detailed Training Plan
I think I know what the training plan should consist of but now it is the details that need to be worked on. In my humble opinion, I think there are two kinds of Training Plans, one that is designed and sent in for advancement as coach and another more basic or detailed plan for the Athlete. What I ...

Re: IZH-46M Good for a beginner?
I am just starting out in 10 meter air pistol and wondering if the IZH-46M is a good choice to start with or should I buy a used FWB, Walther, Morini, etc? It would be so easy just to place an on-line order, pay the $275 and start soon rather than hunt classifieds and pay $500 for a used one. The I...

Re: Filter query.
Does it help to use a coloured filter when shooting 10 metre Air Pistol indoors? If yes, what colour would you recommend the filter be in? This is assuming that the indoor range lighting follows ISSF norms. Thanks. Rustam Hello Rustam, Filters for indoors in most cases are not necessary but I have ...

Re: Shooting glasses for LP and FP
Hi there, I´m about to buy shooting glasses. Does the same glasses suit for LP and FP without any changes? Do you recommend glasses for both? Raub I use the same shooting glasses for 10 meters, 25 meters and 50 meters. I shoot with an adjustable iris on the glasses. I have more trouble shooting out...

Re: Air Pistol Progress
Since moving up from a Gamo compact to a SAM K11 my average score over a 60 shot course is now about 510 with my PB being 521. Is this any good? Many thanks in advance David The scores sound good to me. It all depends on how long you have been shooting, how much and what type of training you do and...

Re: Rapid fire pistol training tips needed
If you are a recreational shooter practicing .22lr 50 ft rapid fire events without benefit of a turning target, how do you time your series in training? P. I have a Rapid Fire Video that I purchased many years ago. I can't find the producer of it anymore and I was thinking of reproducing it for sal...

Eye Sight Problems
I have come across another shooter that has the same problem as I do. If there are two of us, there might be more and a solution to this problem. I see a double image or ghost effect when I look at my front sight. I can minimize it with an adjustable iris and color filters. I do have astigmatism and...

MU55 or MC55 VS TOZ-35
I found out that the MU55 is the same thing as the MC55, must be the russian letters that gets translated differently.
I still am not sure which one is the best or how they compare, can't find any info on them.

MU-55 VS TOZ-35
I have a friend who wants to get into free pistol and can buy a MU-55 for a real good price. Is pistol good compared to the TOZ-35?
What are the Pro and Con on this pistol vs the TOZ-35?
Is it worth to invest in this pistol, it will cost half the price of a TOZ-35?

Re: World Master Games - lodgings
Gang: Can anyone make any recommendations for lodgings in or near the Strathcona shooting range in Edmonton? I would be interested in anything in the $90 to $125 (USD) per day range. I'll will have a car available while there so distance to the range isnt critical. Thanks and hope to see a bunch of...
