Re: MP90s last round issue

Indeed there are two lines on the bottom at 7 and 5 o’clock which the manual say to stay between. I had put mine about 1mm to the outside of the 7 o’clock two years ago as it brought the trigger further back for me and felt great . And it ran fine for that time until a couple months ago. I don’t bel...

Re: MP90s last round issue

An update for those that would like to know. So in a nut shell my pistol would fail on the last shot of the magazine, it would chamber but the hammer wasn’t engaged. Two days ago it was way worse sometimes two or three or four rounds from each magazine would chamber, without the hammer cocking. They...

Re: MP90s last round issue

thanks as always, its been a gem of a pistol since I bought it, and with the exception of a bad batch of Aguila (pre red logo boxes) where the heads were a little "rattly" as if there was no proper crimping, and we has many stovepipes and inaccuracies - it's performed excellently. (of cour...

Re: MP90s last round issue

Thanks! My version has no disconnector, straight or duck. I have the old Benelli 1cm thick red dry fire block that it would have come with, so even a chamber stuck open till 10mm would still click. Cleaning regime was from absorbing your wonderful videos even well before I bought the pistol but I'll...

Re: MP90s last round issue

Thanks both, so by sticky chamber, do you mean it's losing energy on the extraction? Why then not on the 1st or 3rd shot of any magazine, always the last, I get the round chambered but pulling the trigger doesn't even give a click, I mean its NEVER the 2nd round, or 4th, always the last round in the...

MP90s last round issue

Good day, hope everyone is well. This last few months, I'm experience an issue with the last round in my 5 round magazine. The round gets chambered, but the hammer isn't cocked, off-putting to say the least. It's happening about 75% of the time and only the last round. I can of course sucessfully fi...

Re: Prepping the trigger

On my benelli mp90 I’m on the trigger on the raise (past half way) and I have a habit of twice squeezing the first stage to the second stage stop while lowering on to the target, for me it’s like settling in. I also did it with my lp400 air pistol. When you get to really know your gun you can play w...

Re: Walther GSP speeloader

Bobgee the benelli mags, at least the older ones have a tiny single nub and a pretty strong spring. Many of the older gents at our club have either not much nail to speak off or the dexterity to manage easily. Even so with my basic laser cut spring pusher and me in my prime, it’s easier and faster t...

Re: A welcome refresh - benelli case

Since I always forget if I last set my sights to 10 or 25 meters, engraved the numbers and added a little marker on the sight adjustment tool .

Re: Walther GSP speeloader

I noticed this one doesn’t fit model 41 mags, On the design I did for laser cutting extremely simple loaders from 3mm ply, I found removing one of the internal bumps opened my benelli loader to model 41 as well. I found folks tended to “lean in” to the mag nub , putting the loader at a slight tilt; ...

Re: A welcome refresh - benelli case

The foam is available in a lot of places. The lid foam is from a music store (sound insulation), about 2,50 Euro for 100x50cm. It's a lighter foam, about 2cm thick. Not as bumpy as a typical egg-box type, but just bumpy and soft enough to have enough give when closing the lid and to hold in the tool...

A welcome refresh - benelli case

I was never a fan of the ultra skinny pistol cases, I like the width, but never how much top to bottom space they have. When I bought my 30 year old benelli last year it had a slim case, with some of the worst foam I’d seen. Within a week it was replaced with one that was just as wide, but 3 or 4 cm...

Re: Mobile Apps

Another target scan user, for 18 months. Expensive but worth it, especially over months/years of use. We've also started using it with our mandatory internal club competitions, being able to easily export the data, we have the ability to show each shooter how they've been improving (or not), and hav...

Re: Benelli MP90s Double Fire

Fantastic information. Thanks as always. I’ve also noticed I may be over oiling and giving the crud a place to gather, certainly in the circle around the breach where the edge of the case sits , oiling in the slides especially after cleaning which creeps into the breech, I try to pop a drop of remoi...

Re: Benelli MP90s Double Fire

Thanks both, I give a clean every 100 shots but did notice a little more gunk than usual after testing some other brands.
My early Benelli also doesn’t have a disconnector so that probably added to the issue.

Benelli MP90s Double Fire

Good day! I've put a couple 1000 Aguila standard rounds through this pistol in the year I've had it, it loves them. CCI not so much, several failures in the boxes I've tried. Last night I tried a magazine of RWS Pistol Match, Shots 2 went off as normal, and shot three automatically straight after wh...

Plans for a Pachmayr Case

Good day, I need a new project. I have plenty of wood and a laser that I can cut 1/3 inch in one pass or 1/2 in two. Strange request, but Would anyone have a set of plans for a Pachmayr case? It'll be for a Benelli MP90 and a Toz35m and spotting scope. I'm able to design it out myself, but I thought...

Re: Dealing with Dead Case Foam

Sorry, I thought I had replied. I use lightburn to send all cuts/engraves to the laser, with it's own internal format, but you can of Course import and export dxf. I tend to work with SVG in general, for a little more compatibility with my other design software. I've attached an exported dxf as well...

Re: Dealing with Dead Case Foam

This first one was done by a company in Haarlem with a laser, before I got my own 700x500mm bed 80W co2 laser, and I ran the next one myself. It fits a medium Rink, and the original Large walnut is a little more snug. I did the vector layout for the cut myself, and you are welcome to the svg file an...
