Re: Soda Stream cylinders
Tkinva, I wasn't thinking of using the gas from their bottle, it's food grade and too expensive. I was going to use one of their mty bottles and fill it from my 25 lb tank. I thought it'd be a nice travel tank and cheap since it was free to me. I believe they would be non-siphon like other food grad...

Soda Stream cylinders
I see this subject was mentioned with a Tau co2 pistol, but has anyone used a Soda Stream bottle to fill cylinders from Steyr LP1 or other pistols with detachable cylinders? Will a Soda Stream bottle fill from a 20 lb. bottom syphon tank, and would special fittings be needed? Thanks for any experien...

Re: FWB 65 cocking problem
I agree with Rover, try Pilkguns. My 65 was doing the same thing and I had white pieces of hard material (sealant?) breaking off and messing up the operation of it. Pilkington repaired my gun and it shoots reliably and accurately, probably better than new. I'm no airgun smith, but I tried and left o...

Re: gun choices for .22 target
I'm no authority, I like the conversions and right now the Nelson. I can shoot it as good as my Victor. What I like is for the whole setup and new custom built frame, with all new parts and a beautiful trigger job that I like for about $1100. You can buy a European 22 but it's going to be about twic...

Re: Front post vs rear notch size?
I have a question about David M's post, in those pictures does your eye seem to favor the lower left picture? Mine do, and I think it has to do with the shallower depth of the rear sight cut. It just seems easier to acquire or is this tricking my eye and mean nothing?

Thank you too, I never was a computer whiz. Hell, I have a hard enough time learning how to surf the web.

Re: Front post vs rear notch size?
Thanks Dennis and Rover. I have a LP-1, I looked in the box and there's 3 more sights in there, I didn't know why. The fact you can position the sight forward and aft to match the width will help also, I'll be experimenting with this now. This week I been getting my diopter and aperture setting for ...

Re: Front post vs rear notch size?
"I've been told that the front sight and the black bullseye should appear to be the same width when you take aim. If that width post (whatever it is) gives you too little light on each side of the rear sight notch, widen the rear sight. My Morini 162ei has an adjustment for this. If your gun do...

That sounds fun. I vote we use paper targets, I don't know how I can sore a inner 10 into a 10.8.

I totally agree with Rover on using time wisely, and I need to know the rules better. Right now I'm shooting matches that follow NRA rules. I have their rules ISSF, and I just downloaded the CMP rules. I do have a question on the cylinder dates for pistols, I hear that compressed air has to be dated...

Oh ya, break dancing that'll make me shiver in a dark alley. Personally I think they could have put that event in a separate venue, like "Dancing with the Stars". I wished they would televise more of the precision shooting sports on ESPN or other sports channels. My POV only. Stan I don't...

Re: A question about pistol-shooting stances.
I prefer modified Weaver for accurate 2-hand shooting because I can dig my jaw into my arm and sight down my pistol arm. If I were to shoot action type competition I'd use Isosceles for the ability to quickly change directions right or left on the target. With 1-handed shooting you point your pistol...

Sorry guys, I was trying to find out if Jon Eulette uses a center hold, and if his trigger 1st stage is light. I don't know how to do the quote and partial quotes most guys here use with the tan color so they stand out.
