Tim, I had not thought of a wedge but it's an idea. The latest stock I am building has the hand guard tapered so I angles up towards the barrel from the trigger guard and i shaped it to be pretty round. In the past i have used the little button style handstops to use the sling to push hand down with...

Handstops

I am looking for a new handstop for using on a wood stocked rifle. I have wrist issues from doing Judo and prefer one that rotates a little. I use a tube gun with a round handguard for highpower and rotating the tube is much more comfortable . Has anyone tried the tec-hro ergonomic or anschutz integ...

Wide shots at 2 o'clock

Looking at some old books and targets, it seems in prone I have a tendency to shoot a couple shots of every 20 on nearly every string up and right at 2 o'clock. The others are centered up. Its consistent so I am certain it's me. Is there anything that is known to cause this?

Your age will factor in how your train. I am nearly 40 have learned the hard way. If something hurts, don't do it. If it doesn't hurt, it may still not be advisable. Most trainers I have watched at various gyms are clueless and often certified in an 8 hr seminar. I would avoid any shoulder fly movem...
