Re: Morini free pistol compensator

got the compensator for the TOZ-35 and tested it today. the guns jumps less and you can feel that the muzzle is heavier the first shots were reeeally high. more that a target high. but after ~15 shots, they got back down where they used to be. i had the impression that the front hole got a bit elong...

Re: How far back should the trigger be

i used to use the middle "correct" position, but i found out recently that using the right "old style" position works better for me. i can press on the 2nd stage with more control and get less bottom-left trigger jerk shots

if you have a link to that source code, i;d love to see it
colinlp wrote: Thu May 30, 2024 4:51 am Someone on a UK target shooting forum built one and has the source code etc available FOC. Not all the features of the real thing but plenty good enough and probably better than the basic Scatt

Re: Reverse engineering SCATT

latest SCATT is just a webcam. it detects the image of the black bull circle and computes the movement based on it's movement from frame to frame.
that simple on the hardware part. the software... now there is the bulk of the problem.

Re: Morini free pistol compensator

i saw your post on egun, selling the morini compensator
i would like the TOZ-35 one - old version with the front sight welded to the barrel. (TOZ-35M is the new version with the removable front sight)

Re: ISSF Center Fire Pistol

1) as far as i know, most competitors switch between sub 6 hold for precision and center hold for duel (rapid)
2) the target for duel (rapid) is the same one as rapid fire and sport pistol (black with 2 horizontal white bars in the middle)

Re: Replacing rear sight on a Toz 35

i managed to borrow a pardini rear sight and mounted it on my toz, along with a wider front sight (3.9mm) the pardini max width is 4.7mm, a tad too small for the new front sight also it;s much taller and thicker-> the rink grip would not allow it to drop low enough. i would have had to carve out som...

if you shoot at paper target, use the TargetScan App on Android or iPhone

Re: Electronic Target for home use?

man... u have high taxes in Hungary. Orban is really up to something :) didn;t notice that seta ships with included pellet trap at 1300euros. for inband you have to buy it separately (+170euro). that makes seta quite attractive unfortunately, there is no european warehouse (and i don;t think there w...

Re: Electronic Target for home use?

If the goal is to learn to shoot better, I think you get more bang (pop?) for your buck with an electronic trainer. Electronic targets are very nice, but walking 10m to change a target isn't that much of a burden. You can live fire with an electronic trainer, and not only see where your shots went,...

Re: Electronic Target for home use?

really? a full freetarget is 550$ (that's ~500 euros). a seta is 1300 euros (inband is 1250 euros). how much is the shipping from the US?
Norgi wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2024 1:37 pm Do any of you know any option to buy FreETarget in Europe? If I order it from the US it will cost me nearly the same as a factory Seta.
