Re: Walther LP500; any good?
here is an incident with a LP500 that broke after 15 sessions:

seems like the LP400 had a bad reputation for cylinder problems in germany and LP500 follows in it;s steps for now

Re: SSP air pistols
Well if you're forbidden to modify an air pistol in any way, then it would seem an obvious choice; buy the new Baikal. A 20 year old SSP is very, very likely to need new seals at a minimum, and may need some polishing of sealing surfaces depending on how it was maintained. If such repairs/maintenan...

Re: SSP air pistols
that's very nice but that level of modification is out of the question for me (not only i lack the skill and tools, but modifying a gun in any way is illegal here). what i;m trying to determine is if i should risk buying a 20 year old FWB 100 in an unknown state from some guy in germany on eGun.de (...

Re: SSP air pistols
I would MUCH rather have an old FWB103 than a 46M. Even if it didn't work, it could be fixed with a few O-rings and you'd be shooting top-of-the-line. I'm currently using an old Walther LPM1 and am delighted with it. I like it better than the FWB100 I used to own. A Pardini K58 would probably be ch...

electronic target
the electric target is composed of a white plate with a round hole in the middle where a black paper scrolls down for each shot. (never seen one up close) my question is.. what happens when a shooter shoots a 5 or a 4? does the machine register the shot? is the white plate (dunno what is made of) sc...

in this clip, Hoang from vietnam is using a long morini with rear sight extended all they way to the rear.
i just wanted to know if this is an "oficial" option or is custom made

Re: I'm sorry your new air pistol is a piece of crap
For my sake, I tried the Morini 162, I liked it , but are used to pistols with backsight being in the rear . But it is still used by the best in the world. i know it;s offtopic.. but the issue was raised in this thread morini_long_rearsight.jpg i saw this picture of a morini with an extended rear s...

Re: air pistol components
I'll save Rover the effort. 1. Absorber - nothing of value 2. Compensator - nothing of value 3. Stabilizer - (You guessed it) nothing of value not very helpful... i know these have to do with recoil reduction, but i was under the impression they are different names of the same "system" bu...

Re: SSP air pistols
sorry to resurrect this...
it;s been 8 years and the only SSP being sold/produced is still only the IZH 46M.
what would be better to buy now: a brand new IZH or a 10-15 years old FWB 103?

Re: Anschutz LP50 opinion
If you're looking for cheap....forget it. Not only is the gun expensive, you have to invest in SCUBA gear (forget pumps). Either keep your present clod-buster or upgrade to a better SSP, which will give you equal scores to a PCP. what better SSP than IZH 46M are the being produced/sold today? (i kn...
