Re: NRA International CF Classification

Dave,

OK, got your point. Just did the math. Shoot four 98's in Duelling for a 392. 600x0.96=576. Minus 392 = 184. Or 92 average in Slow Fire.

Guess that I need to work on Duelling! Struggling to even make Sharpshooter at present!

Thanks.

NRA International CF Classification

Not sure whether this should go here or in "Bullseye Talk", but here goes. Reading the Rule Book I see the numbers stated as follows - I assume that these are percentages of each Aggregate score:- 19.15 Individual Class Averages - Competitors will be classified as follows and NRA Classific...

Re: Morini FP CM84E Instructions

Thank you David M. very clear and concise instructions - excellent!

But I would still like to get connected to Mark Briggs detailed general instructions if they still exist online.

Thanks.

Morini FP CM84E Instructions

I searched and saw a recommendation to go to detailed info provided by Mr. Mark Briggs - could not find it.

Can someone please point me to the location.

I want to remove the grip and it is not obvious (to me at least!) how to do that.

Manurhin MR38 Match rear sight blades

I have just bought one of these fine revolvers and on carefully looking at the extended rear sight I discover that the sight blade unit is removeable. The one supplied with the gun has a notch 3.1mm wide. It is stamped #1. I prefer a wider notch. I am guessing that Manurhin offer blades with differe...

Pardini HP32 Brass Catcher

My HP32 tends to spit 32ACP brass all over the place and those very small cases can be very hard to find in the grass or out amongst a carpet of 22 and other brass. I have worked out the best position for my normal brass catcher net, but there are always several 32ACP cases that fly past it every se...

Re: Champion Olympic Lens flopping

Dave,
Happens that I was working on my Champions the other day and also found that I could not shift the screw bolding the side arm on to the main frame.

I intend to try a little "gentle" heat when I get a chance.

Re: Recommended Bullseye Pistol for intermediate pistol shooter?

Whilst I agree that buying the best is certainly a good idea if you have the financial resources, if you are on a tighter budget (or just don't want to lay out big money till you are sure it is the sport for you) then a Ruger 22 plus a decent 1911 is a good choice. The experts mostly recommend the R...

Re: Rink 1911 grips

The 7 degree option was intended for shooters with "opposite" master or dominant eye (e. g. Right handed shooter sighting with left eye). But, it seems that some "non-opposite" shooters have found that they prefer the 7 degree option. Through a series of mis-adventures I tried th...

Re: comparing the Listone Victor and the Alfa Proj?

Sorry to be the one to ask the obvious question. But does anyone know for sure that the Alpha Proj version is actually built in Czech? They look almost identical and Listone make several versions marketed (in Asia, etc.) under several brand names. Listone is a contract manufacturer for many brands (...
