I've turned mine down that small occasionally. Bright clear day with the afternoon sun shining on your target at 50feet.

Re: Champion Shooters Supply
Any chance the Jooss' could sell the Freeland line to another company like Creedmoor? They have been selling some of the Freeland products and have the operations to continue making and selling Freeland gear for a very long time.

Re: Champion Shooters Supply
Some Freeland items have been sold through Creedmoor but are all out of stock. I emailed Creedmoor and they said they didn't know what would happen to the Freeland line, they have not talked to Carl, but they would like to continue offering it.

Re: Microsight question
I have a good Ophthalmologist but have not asked for an Rx specifically for shooting. I've never considered it until very recently and thought the microsight would allow me to use my regular glasses. Even if I look at the target and not the front sight it's sometimes fairly clear, and sometimes just...

Microsight question
Being part of the over 40 crowd I'm finding the target is getting fuzzier and there is more guesswork in my sight alignment. I've read the mixed reviews on the microsight, but my question is they make a short (760mm) and long (800mm) sight radius version, but the sight radius of my rifle is around 9...

Re: UPS STORES - Disappointing - NOT SHOOTING FRIENDLY
It's been that way for years. You have to ship guns and ammo from hubs only which stinks because they are usually only around major airports.

Many of the X-games, and extreme sports are slowly being added to the olympics, the logical progression is that e-sports will be added eventually.

I don't know about the Anschutz, but Creedmoor makes an almost exact copy of it:

Re: Another NCAA rifle program ends
I fear rifle and fencing will soon be gone completely from the NCAA in favor of more variations of existing sports. Reminds me of the "new sports" in the Olympics while certain historical classics are under constant threat of being cut there too.

Re: Extension tube length question
Tim, thanks for the cleaning suggestions. I have 12 gauge supplies, I can get a 10 gauge mop if needed.
40xguy, the beestinger tube is the one I have been looking at, but was planning on the tube without the tuner.

Re: Extension tube length question
I get windage, but not weight. Most extension tubes are carbon fiber these days and only weight a few ounces.

Re: Extension tube length question
I was thinking of a minimum of 30 inches, but have the possibility of going to 33 for no additional cost on the extension tube, and could go up to 36 for an extra $10. It's also got me considering a 22mm front globe as well.
Thanks

Extension tube length question
I got my new 21 inch Lilja barrel last week, and it needs an extension. With my limited experience I've never shot anything longer than a 26 inch barrel yet. With a barrel plus extension length what are the practical differences in a 30 vs a 33 inch length or something in between? For sight radius i...

Re: Sling - Anschutz Professional or something else?
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I've considered the Hata as well, it's on my top three. What is the practical difference between a sling that uses a keeper for tension, or one that uses a buckle or latch pin?
