Re: Reduced distance AP targets

There is also a similar scaled one for 7 Metres, which almost takes it out to 25 Feet.

Re: I S S F Rules

Looks like the Commands / Announcements have also just been released (yesterday)

Unless I am mistaken there are some minor changes - so far it seems they have removed the '10' and '5' second announcements towards the end of the finals shot time ?

Re: Steyr LP-10 Trigger Shoe

Fist part of 8.4.2 "The weight of the trigger pull must be measured, with the test weight suspended near the middle of the trigger" Thanks David, so as long as they can get the weight to hold on, there is nothing else stopping you coming up with a longer, or different shaped trigger shoe.

Re: Steyr LP-10 Trigger Shoe

It is relatively straightforward to make on a lathe. Steyr's trigger post is 2.5mm. So it's basically an aluminum cylinder 10mm in dia., 26mm long with a 2.5mm hole thru it's center and a set screw perpendicular to it. I am a retired Tool & Diemaker. Just out of curiosity, would these be able t...

Re: I S S F Rules

That was quick. I was the classification officer for the 25m Pistol at the Commonwealth Games. Semi-final, 5 series (as normal) Bronze medal match, 9 series Gold medal match, 5 series The confusion of the spectators was also telling, even the knowledgable crowd was totally baffled. I gave up trying...

Re: I S S F Rules

I must be in the minority then :-) I actually think they are working pretty well at the moment, although I would probably change the 25M Pistol (women) final as I think its way too complicated.

Re: I S S F Rules

I just hope the fact the General - Commands and Announcements For finals section is now empty isn't an indication that the finals are changing....

Where's the ISSF Twitter feed? The ISSF Facebook page? What about the ISSF Youtube channel (take a peek at FITA's archery channel on youtube to see what I mean, and no, ISSF.tv doesn't count because the audience is watching Youtube, so why hide ISSF.tv away on the far side of the room in a corner?)...

Re: Compressed Air refil tank

You don't necessarily need a new adapter you can get a plastic spacer made, mine is made out of I think dalcron (not sure I spelled it right), and it works fine. Don Nygord made the first one for me and it has worked well for me for years. Ahh ok, I'd never actually used 300 Bar so wasn't sure, I w...

Re: Compressed Air refil tank

For example is it worth having 300 bar instead of 232 bar and approximately how many fills would one expect fom the various size cylinders. If you go for the 300 bar it will give you more fills, but bare in mind you will need a new adapter for filling the LP10, the one it comes with is specific to ...
